Spicer: Trump didn't mean wiretapping when he tweeted about wiretapping
The White House on Monday walked back a key point of President Donald Trump's unsubstantiated allegation that President Barack Obama wiretapped his phones in Trump Tower during the 2016 election.
Namely, White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Trump wasn't referring to wiretapping when he tweeted about wiretapping.
"I think there's no question that the Obama administration, that there were actions about surveillance and other activities that occurred in the 2016 election," Spicer said. "The President used the word wiretaps in quotes to mean, broadly, surveillance and other activities."
No I'm pretty sure Trump said something along the lines of How low has Obama gone to tap his phones. No quotes. Then again it is technically a question and as we all know, you can say ANYTHING as a headline so long as there's a question mark at the end
I thought trump was a guy who tells it like it is
take a shot everytime we find out what trump REALLY MEANT when he says something objectively retarded

Say hello to alcoholism, homelessness and liver failure.
Why does it feel like Spicer is a dude they just took from the street who just is trying to fake it 'til he makes it, but is failing spectacularly?
He might actually be one of the worst press secretaries of all time.

Take a shot when one of Trump's subordinates says "What Trump really meant was...".
Though that could result in some deaths considering the rate of occurances.

"Did TheTalon just have sex with 20 toddlers?"
Shit. I see what you mean! It works wonders!
The fact Trump requires his staff to come out (many days later might I add) to "correct the record" and assure us "no, no he didn't say that thing you totally heard him say or saw him Tweet" is genuinely concerning. No leader of a country should be this unaccountable.
I honestly don't think the mid-term elections for the other arms of government are going to come soon enough to stop him actually damaging the country. What a shitty timeline we're in.

You'll be skipping all of that and just ascend to a new plane of existence. His staffers corrections come too fast for liver failure to set in.

I think that's the forecast for a lot of Americans in the coming four years, although not necessarily in that exact order. But at least the immigrants are being kept out, right?

Considering what he has to work with, can you fault him?
Yeah, and remember how "the wall" was just a symbolic word for border control
It'd fit the pattern if Trump in turn was to double down on the wiretapping accusations
The GOP shouldn't be allowed near any bbq's with their tendency for lighting gas
Fuck me, seriously Trump, the whole "plausible deniability" thing doesn't really work in written media, the word "wiretap" means only one fucking thing. Why hasn't any of his staffers taken his account from him? It does more harm than good.

Sean Spicer IS The Trump Whisperer, premiering January 20th, 2017 on Animal Planet.
god I wish Blizzerd was unbanned right now

No, you become Jim lahey

That makes sense considering Trump is an old geezer and is from the wiretap age. The way he uses twitter, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't know what "seen by everybody" means
He was just pretending to be a paranoid retard.
Has "this is what trump REALLY meant" reached the levels of "this is how bernie can still win" yet?
Obviously he didn't mean wiretapping, he meant microwavetapping, get with the times people.
trump didn't mean it when he said obama was a muslim not born in this country either.

what a kidder, that trump
like i'd say this is a problem, that the man in charge of the nukes is just overreacting or not meaning what he says (this would be a HUGE problem and show a lack of basic rhetoric, forcing me to believe he doesn't have what it takes to run a country) but the thing is he means litterally everything he says and has never once backed down from his statements before, other than the "grab em by the pussy thing." both situations suck, which lead me to believe that he sucks and should not be our president. if someone can somehow reasonably fight against this claim, i'm all ears.

Be nice to Melissa she's trying her hardest
I'm not even angry at Spicer, I just pity him. He has to go out there and try to somehow excuse every bit of nonsense that comes out of Trump's mouth, which is quite a lot to cover.

it's better than being sober in this fucking world.

And that's just with the new healthcare plan, never mind the drinking game. :thatwasfunnyright:

At the rate things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if one of these days in the near future, Spicer just straight up said "Y'know what, I'm not paid enough for this bullshit. Fuck this, I'm out", and then proceeds to walk right out of the press conference.
He's just using alternative verbs
Welcome to an age where words don't mean what they mean
I wonder if the trump administration realizes how stupid they look to the world.
