Hey, haven't made a post in a while because i just enjoy the content at the moment.
But this has been bugging me for a while now, is there a place where i can learn how to animate characters using C4D? I know how to make rigs and things like that but i really dont know how to animate.
Any help would be great, Thanks in advance :)
You have to use keyframes
But I really wouldn't use C4D if I were you, it's like the lowest rung on the 3D suite ladder, learn a better program

Also, this would have been a good place to post your query, rather than making a thread for it in CC, since it's a specialist subject kinda

Or (presumably) they could help you in the modelling section:

Wasn't it free for a while? I considering getting it in that time, but I thought "Eh, I just use Blender anyways."
Anyways OP, if you agree with MakoSkyDub, try Blender. I find it's pretty easy for animations.
If not, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5eFIR_BnUE
I associate Blender with pretty landscapes and stuff
I associate C4D with people who make haphazard models of phalluses
Obviously that's sort of a narrow view but I think you catch my drift :v:
And I didn't know it was free at any time Doctor, they must be pretty desperate to get people to use it

I remember the full version of 4D was free for a few months. I think it was when it first came out, I'm not sure. But yeah, Blender is for way more than pretty landscapes! Just look at some of Andrew Price (Blender Guru)'s stuff.
The thing about cinema4d is that its more for Motion Graphics, for commercials and what not
