Because If you don't listen to black sabbath you're not a metal fan
(thread made with about 25% serious (by volume))
Black Sabbath always had more of a Hard Rock sound to my ear.
Because If you don't listen to black sabbath you're not a metal fan
Pretty much... exactly correct! Good job. [editline]05:47PM[/editline]
Black Sabbath always had more of a Hard Rock sound to my ear.
They're not known as the Fathers of Metal for playing Hard Rock... :geno:
You are a real metal fan if you listen to metal more than anything else But War Pigs is a win song. Personally I prefer the original version tbh. By Faith No More.
Sure I like black sabbath and all but it's not like I listen to them on a regular basis. [editline]11:49PM[/editline]
Personally I prefer the original version tbh. By Faith No More.
:geno:
But War Pigs is a win song. Personally I prefer the original version tbh. By Faith No More.
...the original version was black sabbath...:geno:
:geno:
My thoughts exactly.
faith no more version: 1989, black sabbath original: 1970.
You are a real metal fan if you listen to metal more than anything else But War Pigs is a win song. Personally I prefer the original version tbh. By Faith No More.
i, too, prefer the original faith no more's version the same way i prefer the original painkiller by death fuck judas priest
I thought you were going to ask us to tap out Meshuggah or something outrageous.
They're not known as the Fathers of Metal for playing Hard Rock... :geno:
Thanks you cpt obvious. One could make the argument that people like Chuck Berry and Elvis are the godfathers of rock and roll, but that doesn't mean a band like Cream sounds a lot like them. Black Sabbath doesn't sound like the majority of metal, it sounds more like Hard Rock. That's all I was saying.
No. Not really. Cream is Metal too, don'tcha know? It's rudimentary, but Metal as fuck. The memorable, heavy guitar riffs, the badass bass and fun drum part. Plus the overall dark and doomy tone, along with sinister lyrics and haunting vocals... Sounds pretty Metal to me.
I thought you were going to ask us to tap out Meshuggah or something outrageous.
Meshuggah would've been easier for me because I actually listen to them, but not Black Sabbath.
Got it first time, it's the 3rd beat after the open hat. ... :smug:
i, too, prefer the original faith no more's version the same way i prefer the original painkiller by death fuck judas priest
me too
you know youre a REAL metal fan if your taste in everything is horrible.
I thought you were going to ask us to tap out Meshuggah or something outrageous.
That would be easy as fuck
Got it first time, it's the 3rd beat after the open hat. ... :smug:
Finally being a drummer is useful, we get to prove how much of a metal fan we are!
I'm not a huge fan of Black Sabbath to be honest I own a couple albums, but I listened to them when I was like twelve
You're a real metal fan if you dress in rainbow clothing. Because rainbows are metal.
faith no more version: 1989, black sabbath original: 1970.
Woops :v: Got the dates messed up. Still, I prefer Faith No More's cover
Thanks you cpt obvious. That's all I was saying.
Sabbath don't sound as heavy to many people these days because everyone's used to heavier metal.
You are a real metal fan if you listen to metal more than anything else But War Pigs is a win song. Personally I prefer the original version tbh. By Faith No More.
No you are a real metal fan if you like metal.
I haven't heard War Pigs in ages, pleasant reintroduction to my ears
you know youre a REAL metal fan if your taste in everything is horrible.
I think you got metal and pop confused, mate.
Thanks, now I know i'm a real metal fan for sure! I can't wait to tell mom!
