The frog which 10 year old Cordellia Buckley claims she found when she bit into a McDonald's wrap
- - -
A ten-year-old girl was nearly sick when she tucked into a McDonald's wrap - and sank her teeth into a dead frog.
Cordellia Buckley was travelling home from a day out with dad Dave, 42, when they decided to stop at a drive-thru.
But as she munched through her £ 1.99 Big Flavour sweet chilli chicken wrap she bit down on something tough and chewy.
She pulled it out of her mouth and screamed when she realised it wasn't a bit of gristly chicken - but was actually a four inch-long dead frog.
Dad Dave believes it may have been a Halloween prank by a McDonald's worker - but says his daughter has been put off fast food for life.
He said: "She only had a little bit before she felt something funny in her mouth.
"She spat it into her hand and said 'Ew, this is horrible. What is is?' Then she said, 'It's a frog! It's a frog!'
"I was driving down the motorway and she was freaking out. She was going to be sick. I told her not to be silly and to put it into the bag.
"Then we stopped and it was pretty obvious what it was. I phoned McDonald's. I was disgusted."
Oh gawd... *barfs*
good thing i only eat big macs
Wow, they didn't even cook it. Is there any hope left for mc donald's?
I think there's precedent for something like this, didn't someone find a frog in a bag of lettuce once?
Still doesn't excuse this though, or explain why the employees didn't notice it when they were putting the wrap together.
I love frog it's delicious and way more expensive than chicken
Meh, I could toss something in my food and claim the same.
how does that even happen
Leaps and shit? I think this happened somewhere in Britain so while I don't know whether or not frogs are actively combated as pest there, all it takes is for one agile frog to jump in unnoticed through a window and go make its death bed in a chicken wrap paper bag and voilà. Right?
Why did she complain? More food at the same price

There is in here at least.
Naaah, it's just the new French menu, coming with snail nuggets and wine cola.

No, we have to wrap up those fuckers pretty by hand. This foul play.
but says his daughter has been put off fast food for life.
oh no how terrible
snip
Guess she went and got the nr.5 crunchy frog menu
Anyone who thinks this frog just "accidentally jumped in her wrap when it was being wrapped and nobody noticed lol" is full-blown fucking retarded, sorry

There's no doubt in my mind this was somebody's intention
oh no how terrible
The frog was placed there by a hero of dietary justice.
You know that probably wouldn't be the worst idea to get kids to stop eating fast food. Other than the fact you have to kill a bunch of frogs. I guess Australia could use Cane Toads.
how does that even happen
By putting it inside after the purchase with the intent of being paid for a newspaper article and/or litigation.
and we know this was mcdonalds because?
Honestly, this seems like a really bad prank. Some people are just terrible and spit in food or do other disgusting with it.
aw cmon guys, she's like 10 :(

You're right, I'm sure the parents had something to do with this if it really is foul play.
There is in here at least.
Are you sure of that?
Last time I went there I ordered one of those 5 Eur McMenu McChicken, and all I got was a tiny bun with chicken nuggets on it, some fries tasting like fish, and a small cup of coke.
If I go to Burger King, for that price I get a much bigger burger, better fries and free refills.
McDonald's is a big chain in Portugal, but the quality is getting worst by the day.
Not to mention the fucking crap ketchup they now have, it used to be Heinz, now its a white label Calvé.
Someone could put whatever they want in your food on purpose, and accidents happen, both of which have happened plenty of times before. Or they tampered with it afterwards, which may well be the case here but who knows. It really could go either way, don't assume.
Your food is never really safe. :v:
Yeah this is definitely a fucked up prank by some douche, p sure mcdonalds doesn't sell frogs
This annoys me greatly, because from working in the same line of work I can tell there is absolutely no way that was an accident. Food preparation would be nowhere near any points of contamination and generally you keep your eyes on the wrap your preparing at all times, those Fulkerson are wrapped tight if the worker has been trained properly. This just reeks of foul play from a disgruntled worker that thought they'll play a prank on a customer.
So now it comes out, the greatest secret in McDonald's closet: every kitchen is stocked with a bucket brimming with frogs. It was only a matter of time before one of them caused an incident, I warned the corporate office but they refused to listen.

oui oui hon hon hon
I hope they find the guy who did it and imprison him for health code violations.
I don't know how chicken wraps are made, I don't know if an employee actually makes them or if they're premade and warmed up. But if it's the former, it's pretty much impossible for this to have actually happened accidentally.
Either foul play by an employee or the customers put the frog in to get on the news and fabricated a story afterwards. I'm betting on the second.
