The new licence makes it clear that online news sites are expected to comply within 24 hours to MDA’s directions to remove content that is found to be in breach of content standards, the Singapore media regulator said. The sites will also be required to put up a performance bond of S$50,000, like all other individually-licensed broadcasters.
He's not online at the moment.
Thank fuck.
To me, it's just another Dubai. No-one in the western world gives a shit, and now they want money for news? Well sorry but no-one will pay to report on them, so they will vanish from the news.
Did anyone even read the article? It's a $50,000 bond which you would lose if you're in breach of content laws, you don't pay $50,000 just to report on news.. This is just extending what already applies to traditional media to popular news sites
Thank fuck.
You don't need to make random posts in some article attacking some other user. He hasn't even posted yet.
You don't need to make random posts in some article attacking some other user.
and you don't need to make a post defending him in fact life is made up of doing lots of things that aren't needed such as posting on forums all together so shh sobotnik who cares (User was banned for this post ("Trolling." - Seiteki))

Oh well then again it is Singapore, they aren't aware of the western world's advances.
