NERF V3: Darts'n'Disks
Since V2 died to the 1000 post limit, I decided to get a V3 pushed out.
Though I'll begin work on the OP quite soon and get the current, and discontinued lines up, but enough introduction.
NERF is a Hasbro brand which sell foam-based products. The commonly believed acronym for it is "Non-Expanding Recreational Foam "Starting out with their Nerf Foam Ball, they are primarily known today as a Foam Weaponry manufacturer. Currently, there are few Nerf Blaster lines.

N-Strike Elite is the direct successor to the popular N-Strike series, mostly featuring "upgrades" of other N-Strike blasters, featuring a range of up to 70-ft.
Elite Darts

They are essentially, upgrades to Streamline Darts that are proven to be apparently better than Streamlines in any way.
It has been demonstrated that Elite Darts shoot farther than Streamlines, most likely due to the aforementioned changes. Commercials claim that these darts go seventy-five feet when fired from an Elite blaster, but like Streamlines, they vary in range and accuracy. These darts are more accurate than regular Streamline Darts.
Nerfologist, a trader on eBay UK, has tested these darts extensively in a range of modified N-Strike blasters and has seen range gains of five to fifteen feet over Streamline Darts used in the same blaster. Not surprisingly, it would seem the higher performing blasters see the biggest gains in distance. Another big advantage noted was that higher velocities do not cause Elite Darts to "fishtail" to anywhere near the same extent as Streamline Darts.

The Triad is a sort of "cousin" to the Jolt EX-1, in which that it has "an intelligent air restrictor system like the Rough Cut 2x4. If only one dart is loaded in, the blaster will only fire out of that barrel and will not release air out of any of the other barrels. The successor to the Stampede, the Rapidstrike packs a flywheel system instead of an electric spring like the Stampede.

Remember that new Rebelle blaster line.
I still can't get over being shown some Rebelle stuff by other robot collectors.
"Heartbreaker Bow", seriously.
I need to buy myself a nerf gun, I keep getting attacked at LAN parties and have no way to defend myself.
Luckily I can get a staff discount on them from work.
I need to buy myself a nerf gun, I keep getting attacked at LAN parties and have no way to defend myself.

If you can, get the Rough Cut.
It was unveiled to the ultra-do-it-yourself completely-replace-the-internals 200-feet-is-short-range show-offs I usually go with, and they were wetting themselves over it.
Only problem with it is that you can only replace the springs, since removing the ARs breaks it completely.

For a primary, the Rough Cut.
For a secondary, the Triad EX-3 or the Strongarm.

And you can't even replace the spring with a really good one because the priming gears are fairly weak.
The new elite series actually brings back nerf for my roommate and I. We are 25 years old and we just have massive nerf wars. The retaliator is pretty accurate, but the Rough Cut is beyond badass.
I used to mod all my guns, but the new elite ones are pretty good stock.
I did mod my big bad bow to shoot darts, which would actually hurt people.
I heard you can do the same with the Titan
Holy crap I just found the nerf wiki.
I had no idea that Nerf was so... complex.
I hear Rebelle has a revolver which allows single-hand-cocking, like you would a normal single-action revolver hammer.
Gonna get one, repaint it to look manly, and it'll be cool.
My friends and I went to a thrift store last night and saw a bunch of nerf guns. I bought a Nite Finder
http://nerf.wikia.com/wiki/Nite_Finder
When I dry fired it it was loud as fuck (compared to other nerf guns) and you could really feel the springs power. when I found a dart I fired it and it went pretty far. Further than my Maverick Mk6.
I just cut the restricter plate out of it, it does alright.
nerf aka I have a recon but I still want to buy the retaliator
I bought the original rayven not too long ago, now I wanna buy the Elite version and two stryfe and go akimbo with those.
Man it sucks that I like all these new guns, I should have just waited. But now I wanna mod a rayven into a nerf equivalent of the Double Anarchy or into a Bitch (yes I like borderlands sue me)
OP has been updated somewhat, with info on unreleased N-Strike Elite Blasters.
Aren't you guys a little old?

never too old to enjoy yourself
Did y' know Hasbro released something that looked like a nerf gun that wasn't a nerf gun?

Look at that maverick-ass Megatron.
I picked up a stockade from Tesco yesterday? It doesn't seem unreleased ..

Whoops, I meant it hasn't released in North America yet.

But it's got that really nasty, easily chipped Henkei! chrome.
(It also looks decidedly less Nerf-y without the abhorrent 'safety' colour scheme)
I have two of the old longshots. Hopefully whichever college I choose has HvZ or something so I can bring them with me :v:

I haven't seen any really but apparently they're only Toys'r'us exclusive in the U.S.
The Snapfire was released July 3, 2012 in Singapore and some European countries. It was released in the United States on February 22, 2013.
If it's anything like the failed snapfire, the ranges will be shit. Here's hoping I'm wrong...
"N Strike Elite" section of the OP done, would appreciate any feedback about stuff that should be added or typos that need correcting.
If it's anything like the failed snapfire, the ranges will be shit. Here's hoping I'm wrong...
What? The Snapfire's ranges are great for what it is, and excellent for a sidearm once you take out the ARs.

The Rough Cut is actually slam-fire capable, OP says it isn't.
Also, interesting that the Stryfe in the OP has a grey trigger, as far as I'm aware, it hasn't been released in any countries that get the weaker versions of Elite series blasters yet.

Whoops, forgot to say it was "slam-fire capable" when I was copy and pasting, fixed now.
also the Stryfe picture has been replaced now.
I didn't mean you had to change it bro :v:
I just thought it was interesting and was wondering where you found the picture of a Stryfe with a grey trigger.
Oh, I found the picture of the grey trigger off the wiki.
