"I've accepted President Hollande's invitation to join the Unity Rally in Paris this Sunday — celebrating the values behind #CharlieHebdo," British Prime Minister David Cameron wrote on his Twitter page Friday. Other leaders who have reportedly confirmed their willingness to participate in the march include German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and his Spanish counterpart Mariano Rajoy, as well as President of the European Council Donald Tusk and President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker. French Prime Minister Manuel Valls told BFM-TV Friday that "massive" security measures will be taken in Paris as well as other major French cities where similar rallies are expected to take place.
http://sputniknews.com/europe/20150110/1016731195.html Unfortunately, I could only find info on it being possibly numbered at a million from a BBC tweet:
For some reason Ukraine's president Poroshenko is also coming.
I read a quite interesting blog post on the Charlie Hebdo thing. Don't kill the messenger or whatever, I'm just sharing. http://www.hoodedutilitarian.com/2015/01/in-the-wake-of-charlie-hebdo-free-speech-does-not-mean-freedom-from-criticism/

Every day his country sees the same amount of deaths as the charlie hebdoo attack. Looks like a great gesture to show his electorate "Look I am European", while not taking European actions in his country.

Anyway, Portugal's PM is going too. Hoping some dipshit doesn't try to do anything funny but after what happened, security in France must be insanely high.

Poroshenko meanwhile has somehow managed to actually run a decent government, holding out defiantly for its sovereignty and territorial integrity. He's got every right to go to Paris and be a part of this.
Can we please just hold off the Russia-Ukraine relations for the moment. This isn't even about these 2 countries at the moment, ffs.

What if this was the plan? To gather lots of people in one place and then put some suicide bombers in between those people?

Also, this just came up. The brother of the slain policeman caught on camera speaking. Its heart-breaking to see him breakdown

These people do not really understand that French satire revels in being as hamfisted and over the top as possible. Additionally, Charlie Hebdo punched out at everyone and everything and frequently made fun of themselves as well. Basically, fuck this blog post. One could even use it as an example of American cultural imperialism: "We think this is wrong ergo this is wrong in all countries!"
This thing has rallied half the Western world together. Its grim yet impressive.

Moreover, one can voice support for a person's right to free speech while still disagreeing with what they are saying.
I think this whole back fired un the prick's who murdered these people
I'm worried about this. I'm really worried about this. :/
