• John Kasich refuses to endorse Trump; is "not inclined" to become his VP in any scenario
John Kasich signaled Monday that he still harbors deep uneasiness with Donald Trump as the Republican nominee, declining to endorse him and reiterating that he will not serve as Trump's vice president. Even now that he's left the race, Kasich is resisting calls to serve as Trump's No. 2, portraying his pitch and Trump's as fundamentally incompatible. Kasich said he was "not inclined" to run with Trump and that he had "not changed my mind." "Those are two very inconsistent messages, so it would be very hard for me -- unless he were to change all of his views and become a uniter -- for me to get in the middle of this thing," the Ohio governor told CNN's Anderson Cooper in an exclusive interview, his first since leaving the race. "Because, you know, I'm undecided here about what I'm gonna do in this race."
http://www.cnn.com/2016/05/16/politics/john-kasich-third-party-interview-anderson-cooper/index.html
Lol @ ethics in politics. Good on Kasich for making a stand, but if Trump gets elected that's probably going to fuck his career unless he simply wants to stay at the state level.

Trump should run with Dr. Ben Carson as VP.
I'm glad Kasich isn't throwing away his ethics to try to boost his political career, but they need to take a much more hard line against Trump.
The problem is that the republicans are all pre-programmed to fall into line behind the presumptive nominee, so they're struggling with their programming. Good on Kasich for not falling into line. Now if only you had people like that in the democratic party.

I like how he's implying literally anyone would take up an offer to be his VP.
Trump should run with Dr. Ben Carson as VP.
True. We should keep the morons bundled together. Makes finding them in a crowd a bit easier.
Pretty much anyone Trump chooses as his VP will make him look worse than he already is, so I'm not concerned.
Trump should run with Dr. Ben Carson as VP.
Fight to the death between Carson and Christy, to be done under the thunderdome which will be constructed for the rnc in Cleveland 2 VPs enter, 1 VP leaves!
