While I'm glad the third movie strayed from the original anime, It feels like filler to lead up to the fourth move.

Don't worry guys, even if you watch the rest of the series you still won't understand what's going on.

OST is great, the film itself was kind of meh. I prefer the original continuity.

let's be honest 99% of evangelion is fucking weird and makes no sense, we just like it for the visuals, animation, and soundtrack there is no such thing as a satisfying ending when it comes to this series

Needless to say I am eager for its release. Regardless of quality, I see the changes to the original continuity this trailer suggests as something that should be interesting regardless of the actual quality of the film, as such I am excited to see the difference between 3.0 and the previous continuity and its lead up to 4.0.

This movie was am obvious attempt to make a everything subtle about the previous story super obvious. Shinji can't grow up? Now he is still fourteen when everyone else grew up! It's the subtle made literal. Also the hour dedicated to the brief love affair between Shinji and what's his name was probably expanded upon to stir up fans obsessed with the sexuality of fourteen year old girls. The movie was amazing, though I still prefer the End of Evangelion more [editline]3rd December 2013[/editline] Spoilers in my post

they should have just shown 2.0 again, 2.0 fucking kicked ass

3.0 seemed like they had a ton of shit they wanted to do, realized they had no time, and tried to cram it all in any way. The end result was a convoluted mess.

3.0 is a filler movie to set up 4.0 it's not batshit amazing good like 2.0, but it aint bad either

rebuild is trash its EVA for kids, also this is coming out in theaters dubbed so all around 0/10

She was never supposed to be the 'moe' icon that she is, so 3.0 removed all subtlety and bashed you over the head with "your otaku submissive dream girl would be really creepy and so is your obsession".
