Dunno if the speed is accurate. Saw this on Google+ and copied that title.

Is it physically impossible for people with good cars to not drive stupidly? :v:
Still pretty neat though.

i'm inclined to think they are indeed able to shut down their common sense.

tbh most people who buy cars like Bugattis aren't the smartest out there, and they usually can't get insurance because what insurance company would take the risk of insuring a guy who drives a 3 million dollar car around the streets of NYC like this?

Fuck the Veyron. That poor, helpless F50 in the first clips.
This is an event that happens where I live (Sun Valley, ID) it's a car show where they bring in a bunch of really fast cars and they just accelerate off a long stretch of road (they call it phantom hill) and see how fast they can get to.
I think last year one of a bugatti veyrons reached like 240 mph.
My facebook feed always gets fucking stuffed full of all the posers trying to look cool getting their picture taken while they lean against them and shit.

Most rich people I know either avoid insurance or go with the least coverage policy because apparently it is cheaper for them to buy a new car/boat/etc when it breaks than paying the insurance. Man I wish I was in the 1%.

Can you actually leave your car uninsured in the US? I thought that was illegal
Can you actually leave your car uninsured in the US? I thought that was illegal
Do you think they care if they are going above 100
Can you actually leave your car uninsured in the US? I thought that was illegal
If it's registered, it needs to be insured by law.

pretty sure only scooters under 50cc or something can be operated without insurance

Ah yes, the wonders of New York Dude Bros blowing daddy's money. The guy driving the F50 is a fucking moron.
Ah yes, the wonders of New York Dude Bros blowing daddy's money. The guy driving the F50 is a fucking moron.
The poor F50 does not deserve that at all. There's 101 less of those in the world.
Can you actually leave your car uninsured in the US? I thought that was illegal
It's illegal for the average person, but in Texas, if you have $50k laying around you can simply deposit it with your local judge and you're no longer obligated to carry insurance.
Can you actually leave your car uninsured in the US? I thought that was illegal
Yes but they usually go with the least coverage. One of my friends pays less insurance for his Maserati than I do for my Mazda.
Do you think they care if they are going above 100
Where was speed ever brought up in this discussion?
Can you actually leave your car uninsured in the US? I thought that was illegal
I've heard that for most people who can afford these things it's easier to just buy a new car if it's wrecked instead of paying for insurance to fix it

what, overtaking is driving stupidly?
what, overtaking is driving stupidly?
Driving at 100+ mph on a public road is pretty stupid, yeah.
This video isn't as bad as most because it's a very straight, open road with light traffic (unlike the video with the Viper), but if a deer or coyote runs across the road, the car is trashed and the occupant likely dead from 300+ pounds of deer carcass being flung through the windshield.
they're going like 50 mph max, still probably the most expensive lineup of cars on a road in montana(?) that there has ever been
I was driving my Audi TT when these 6 Bugatti Veyrons passed me on the highway. The 6 Veyrons include a Super Sport Pur Blanc, 4 Grand Sport Vitesses and an original Veyron 16.4.
the description says they were on the highway, so like 55-75 mph, that being a small road, its probably in the lower end of 55-60 mph, totally reasonable speeds to pass at on empty country roads, plus with so many of those cars in 1 line its probably some group driving them to a show or something. i don't know where OP got the 150 mph from, but that's way wrong
