Looks dope.
Love that you can change your weapon around like that.

that scythe transformation looked sick as fuck
This looks amazing.
Looks like Dark Souls with guns in old timey London. I like it.

That's essentially what it is (also they dropped the whole defensive aspect about it, less defense more offense in the gameplay).
I wonder if moonlight is going to be some giant sword with a shotgun strapped to it.
The dash instead of a roll is so good.
Looks really cool, but I bet the graphics wont stay the way they look in this vid. Unless they do some serious optimization, I saw the game dip down to <15 fps at a few points.

Not that I mind, but i hope people dont get their hopes up like they did with dark souls 2
I'm not gonna lie, why is it always Western European whenever they do medieval stuff.
I'd love to play a Dark Souls like game with Japanese Influences more pronounced.

The thing about historical Asian themes is that a lot of the language used during those eras were extremely different to the point where words are either lost in translation or use romanized to keep their meanings. This is painfully obvious in Chinese games, especially for games set during the Romance of 3 Kingdoms eras.
Western Europe is also so engrained in Fantasy themes, that Eastern Asian Folklore only introduces unrecognizable themes, setting, and legends. There is too big a detachment for developers to take a risk.
This is gonna sound extremely casual, but I hope this game has less hardcore RPG elements in it and instead makes it just more reliant on just getting good at the combat. They can still make more Souls games for their super in-depth leveling and ambiguous items that you don't really know what they do and can potentially ruin your save if you use them wrong, but I'm deterred from the Souls games for that reason, and just want to experience of fun of unforgiving combat without worrying about upgrading my character the wrong way.
I'm betting the guy at 1:20 is another player, seeing how Latria had player bosses I'm guessing this game expands upon that.
I'm hoping this is more subtle and less "EPIC FANTASY", like Demon's Souls. Hopefully they found the effort they left out of the last two games.
[sp]Ain't gonna lie, I'm gonna miss knight armors with the faces they give in Souls games.[/sp]

You do know that you don't have to level in souls games to beat them right? You can beat them all at level 1 if you're good enough.

dark souls 2 was made by a different developer and (some) different team members so i wouldn't worry about it
the graphics look good, but they don't look amazing to the point where they'd have to dumb it down for performance anyway. for me the visuals look stunning because of the art style, not the technical side.

Honestly DS1 pissed me off at the fact that there was no one like the maiden in black. DS2 kind of fixed it with the Emerald Herald, but she just didn't have the personality that the maiden had in his idles and interactions. Not to mention the blessing the maiden gave when leveling up gave it so much atmosphere.
Looks super rad, pity it's PS4 exclusive. Also big dude at the end looked like he was basically Manus.
So I take it you play as a Monster Hunter of sorts?

From what very little I know, the player comes to this city known for its medicine in seek of a cure.
