So I am wanting to do my very first Airsoft upgrade, I use this crossman gun I have thats a 'Licensed' USMC and Im OK with the 350-375 indoors, but with all of this Polarstar Im hearing about, I wanna do it.
So, here is the gun Im using as a training/indoor game only. Plan on upgrading the trigger also, so if you want to be an awesome person, you can inform me on how to do so.

( This is its EXACT name on Evike website: USMC Licensed Special Limited Edition ER10 M4 MARSOC CQB Airsoft AEG Rifle )
I've played with it for about 5 months now, and all in all for its price it was a really good gun. So the reason Im choosing this one to upgrade is because its a basic one, one of my first if not my first gun, and its low value to me.
I want to know everything about Polarstar, the upgrade to this weapon to make it a Polarstar, and I want to know about the tanks and everything.
Also, if you want, a trigger upgrade on it as well, but this is NOT as important as how to Polarstar-ize this weapon.
I would like my best options to fusion engines, prices, and tanks and such for air. Remember, Obama Bin Laden has made money tightithgithgittight. So keep it realisticly budgeted here. Thank you.
Choose a better gun for the p* base
Okay, first of all, please regard the questions thread for... questions.
Second, I don't think that gun is worth dropping a FE into, nor am I positive that's even TM spec.
Third, I think your end goal is a little unrealistic. I dont know how you expect to upgrade to a FE when money is "tightithgithgittight", since even used FE's are bare minimum $300 before nozzles (if you need more than one), an upgrade trigger, a line, and regulator or whatever it's called, and a tank.
I could put about 500$ into an upgrade. But thats at max and draining what I have in my account. But Id like to do it. I'd like to know how t do it. But if you have any suggestiions on a gun worth building into a Polarstar, or the cheapest way to custom build one, please do leave me some advice. I wouldnt have wasted time asking this question to be told its unrealistic, I did it because I was serious and would like to know an actual answer.
so what happened to that $1300 worth of guns that you said you bought after your camera broke
Ok regardless it goes here [url]http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1260776[/url]
Hi! First off, $500 is way too low for a polarstar setup imo unless you find a really good deal on a Gen 2 rev 2 Fusion Engine(Blue selector plate), or if you're really lucky, a rev 3(AEG selector plates, different switch board, P* cutout in shell) then get a simple steel tank and a palmers rig(or any other basic rig really.)
Second, by upgrading the trigger do you mean changing the pull or adding a different trigger?
I'd take that $500 and get a decent VFC or G&P M4 to be honest.
Oh Jesus Christ not this fucking guy.

CIS SCUM [sp] removed previous statement[/sp]
also USMC licensed airsoft guns are a piece of shit, and I work for the marines (fyi marine corps issued shit isn't very good...most of the time)
[editline]7th February 2014[/editline]
I honestly think that your just a huge troll
That 600-700$ a month is going towards college, Insurance, and Phone bill and any other expenses. I pay all of these. Its completely my choice as well, so realisticly, as of last year, I only get bout 150-175$ a month off each batch. So please quit trying to turn it around on me, I live my life, I know how things go, and I will sure as hell not try and impress an internet forum. To the guy that "Works for the Marines" My older brother is an E7 in the NAVY, Uncle was a Sargent Major in Marines. So pointing that out was about as pointless as me stating I had family in the Service.
I believe I also stated this was a first gun. SO like, when I started about a year and a half ago.
And what about my '1300$ worth of airsoft guns?' I didn't bring them up because they are irrelevant, I asked a specific question that literally only like 2 people gave a straight up and straight forward and professional answer to. (Which I thank y'all, but it still doesnt really answer my question.) So please let me restate my question...
If money wasnt a problem, keeping it to as cheap as humanly possible, how wouldd I go about turning this cheapo beginner airsoft gun into a Polarstar?

I want to replace the whole thing... So I guess thats under the 'pull' option. I want to install a hair trigger but I want it to be a M1911 modified trigger.

I appreciate it, I looked all over for a question's thread, although I dont really understand FP's search module, so I do it manually. Mustve skipped over it.
p*ing that piece of shit would be like dropping a v8 turbo engine with nitrous oxide boost into a 1999 ford taurus that has all spare tires
why are you choosing literally almost the crappiest gun possible to polar star? the only worse guns are either clearsoft or lancer tactical
[quote]If money wasnt a problem, keeping it to as cheap as humanly possible[/quote]
pick one
[editline]8th February 2014[/editline]
also, you cant put a fucking 1911 trigger in a p* engine
just fucking google polar star hair trigger
god youre so fucking dumb
you know, ender and some of his friends took apart a lancer tactical m4 and apparently the internals are pretty good, better shimmed than JG without gunk on the gears, it's the externals you gotta worry about.

i field stripped one. the hop up was see through plastic and the bucking was rotten and torn to shreds despite being brand new. motor died after a few games. had about 50 feet of range. sounded like shit. felt like shit. piece of shit.

S'awwright, I also got acquaintances who served in Rossiya VDV during the Chechen Woar so I can completely speak for them about everything regarding their equipment
Right?
...guys?
[editline]8th February 2014[/editline]
On topic though, I would much rather save for better externals if I was to P* something
That "USMC lisenced~" M4 looks schiesty as fuck

They were brought up because they are a literal testament to your idiocy.

The questions thread is literally right there at the top. Would've taken someone with a half a wit ~4 seconds to find, no searching involved.
This is fantastic.

so if you have a g&g fnc, g&p ar, and vfc scar why aren't you throwing a p* into those then
lying to try and seem cool just makes you look like a massive tool

These pictures were taken a few weeks back, and since then, Ive gotten the following guns (My neice dropped my ipod on the floor and shattered the front, back cameras and my screen looks like it got shot 10 times. Here are my additional guns I have acquired over time for a total of about 1300$ I got some pretty good deals off ebay, and Evike with exclusive coupons. (My favorite choices are the Scar-H w/ M203, and the traditional M16, and the Glock 33 model.)

[IMG]http://imgur.com/ZMbU82p,J6B0smw,GU2tDwu,Ckk0fc1,ZnssbkB,UelBrdC,0vEBVeN,xtYbb6O#6[/IMG] (Got it forr 75$ on ebay on aan overnight bid! xD Slap a BSU Devil on here and you gotta marksman gun for like 1% of the price of any other rifle)

I usually go to an instagram page @airsoft to find new guns to buy, but by the time I go and find tthem to buy with the exact parts and colors as shown in tthe photo, its either too expensive, too cheap, or lacking a part as the picture showed. I got all of the EXACT replica guns, and most of them operate nicely.

[editline]8th February 2014[/editline]
Tried reading the first two sentences with a straight face again but I horribly failed
Why the fuck do you keep calling it an "M4M16"?
Why would you make it out of this $100 plastic garbage, when you apparently have a SCAR, a G&P M4, a Magpul M4, and a FNC, which would be more reliable platforms to make a p* out of
[editline]8th February 2014[/editline]

ahahahahahaha I've never seen something this bad and I know someone who's trigger could be blown on and it fires
So if you come back and you still want to polar star you're looking at
$400 for the engine (used)
$130-150 per tank
$145ish for the rig and line
$150 for the barrel and hopup setup
plus you need be buying nozzles, poppet valves, batteries and maybe an FCU if the FE you buy doesnt have one because you cheap out for an older gen.
good luck.
My tank was like $50, also barrel assembly doesn't [I]have[/I] to be that expensive
carbon fiber tanks are more expensive
barrel and hopup is for the best performing setup out.
I don't see the point in carbon fiber. More expensive, doesn't last as long. It's not like aluminum tanks are unbelievably heavy
[editline]15th February 2014[/editline]
Also, the fact that he's dropping the FE into a crosman or whatever makes me believe he won't be going after a top of the line barrel assembly
