Now, here is my review on the JG Sig 552, also known to video games as the 552 Commando. I bought it for less than $100 at a local shop where AirsoftGI will cost $150.
The Box:
Here's the box:

Nice isn't it. It's also very small when compared to other boxes. It has all the box writing, showing the picture, hop-up, kind of battery, FPS, the "you must be 18+" warning and a list of stuff they said they put in but didn't.
Here's the inside:

It has the gun, a hi-cap magazine, some cardboard, Styrofoam that I shot at, the Engrish manual and three paper targets to shoot at. It also came with a battery, wall charger and the standard 200 untrusted BBs.
The Gun:
Now for the gun itself:

The gun is made of polymer and has the Swiss symbol on top under the removable rail. The sights resemble that on the MP-5, correct me if I'm wrong though:

The Battery and Fuse:
Putting the battery, an 8.4V mini, in the gun is an easy process, compared to that of my friends:
Remove the locking pin on the side of the gun

Pull back the lower hand guard slightly

Then remove the upper hand guard and place the battery inside in such a way that it fits. Then reverse the process. to put it back together.

To replace the fuse just go back to that last step and push the lower hand guard back up and pull it down to remove it

There it is!
The battery compartment is a tight fit but there's a small cut away to slide the wire in making it easier to fit

The Magazine
Here's the magazine that came with the gun:

The manual says it should be a 30 round low-cap. In reality it is a 300 round hi-cap. Here's a bigger 400 round version though:

They have mounting points on the side so they latch on to other mags and makes them easier to compare in size:

Hop-up
The hop-up is adjustable and is accessible through the charging handle and rotates around the barrel:

Performance:
It has a decent rate of fire and does do 330 FPS with .2g BBs. Weighs 2100g according to the box but according to my scale it weighs around 5.4 pounds. The accuracy is very good with a properly adjusted hop-up. Reliability is also very good, although a selector lever on the side has come off, still works using the other one, and it has only jammed once.
Other features:
The flash-hider is removable but when removed is very hard to put back.
A part of the gas system can be removed for no apparent reason.
It has three rails, one on top, one beneath the hand guard and one to it's side, to attach a multitude of your accessories.
Three sling mounting points.
The trigger can fold to the side if, you're right handed:

Or even if you're left handed:

Pros:
Light
Compact
Quite accurate
Good FPS for you Americans
Easy battery installation
Good value for money
Unique as I seem to be the only one with one
Cons:
The broken selector switch.
I recommend this gun to starters and looks good with it's stock parts according to the numbers.
On another note Airsoft is banned here until the elections are over in June or July as part of a gun ban.
I don't recommend dropping this gun with the stock extended. I did so on accident and the stock snapped in half. Now I just taped the stock to the body so it stays extended.
Not that I recommend dropping any of your guns.
Recommending not to drop your gun is a given I do believe.
Dropping your gun is a big no no
I have also broken my stock.Tripped.Glu gun is your friend :v:
Also, only your gun have the selctor broken, mine is fine. The battery is awesome,at least the one I have. The gun is quite easy to take apart.
