Within the next few hundred years, scientists have predicted that the Earth will stop spinning to begin it's second Equillatorial phase in it's entire history. Everybody on Earth is adjusted to the spinning of Earth, due to gravity. That's why you aren't bouncing up and down or falling all over the place.
When the Earth stops, it will take approximately 8 minutes to slow down before it stop abruptly. That abrupt cease in movement will cause loose objects on Earth to move East at 6,000 miles per hour. That speed would vaporize a human the instant it hit a wall. Unless some form of restraint to protect against the intense speed is developed,
everybody on Earth will be killed.

Mass the size of the earth cannot stop instantly, "if" this is anywhere true. Earth would only slow it's spin becuase it's still was traveling in that motion
