Firstly, a gas mask would actually help a fair amount, considering that unless you're real close to a nuked area, then generally the only radiation you're going to encounter will be in the rain, a bit in the wind, and in the dust/ash/debris that will be blown in by the wind. A gas mask filters the dust/ash/debris from being inhaled, which is a major danger and cause of alot of the radiation that would be taken in. Chances are there would be little damage from it otherwise, unless directly contacting skin. Just wear some thick clothes and you should be fine. Now, radioactive rain is a different story,a nd that would fuck you up no matter what. The radiation in the wind would die off quickly, but until then could be seen as a hazard.
Now the video...Trinity, Fat Man or Little Boy shouldn't even be on there, none of them got more than 21 kilos of TNT. As far as the top 5 go, Tsar Bomba would be top, but Ivy Mike and Castle Bravo weren't the strongest in either country. The USSR produced many bombs stronger than Bravo and Mike, as did the US.
