Partially re-made the boss theme from Final Fantasy VIII in my little home studio. Worth finishing?

Hmm I don't know. I think it sounds too close to the original to be worthwhile listening to. And like my favourite part of the song isn't there, you know where the distorted guitar pumps the notes. And the instrument used for the organ sounds sort of.. bad. Like it's too loud for it's own good.
But finish it man! I love this track.

You downloaded the midi file and just changed the instruments.
It also sounds worse than the original.
Yeah I did use the MIDI file, but the point was to replace the elements with some high-end shit. Re-routed the organ parts out to a B4 organ patch on my keyboard, but I guess you could say it's a little too overdriven. Might fuck that one off and do 7's boss theme.
