It really makes sense considering that ISIS got their hands on valuable army gear and vehicles during the raid on Mosul. Furthermore they made 429 million us dollars by bank heists, it's rather insane when you think about it. It's in the interest of everybody. Isis took Mosul without any effort even while being severely outmanned, most defenders deserted and gave up their posts. ISIS is really making a name for themselves.
