The topics selected by Wallace, not necessarily to be brought up in this order, include: - Debt and entitlements - Immigration - Economy - Supreme Court - Foreign hot spots - Fitness to be President The format calls for six 15-minute time segments, with each 15-minute segment focusing on each of the topics.

- Fitness to be President
Why does there need to be a 15 minute discussion on this lol
no fucking global warming, thanks debate commission for denying coverage to one of the largest most overarching topics of the 21st century
Climate change/environmental policy confirmed for not coming up in this election 'The wall' has still not been mentioned in either of the debates, so maybe this time it will come under immigration
fox news, "fair" and """balanced"""*
They actually going to go over all these topics or continue to degrade one another?
Calling this now, Immigration will take up the majority of the time and Trump's comments about Mexicans and Muslims will finally catch up with him - if Clinton and the moderators are on point.
Why does there need to be a 15 minute discussion on this lol
i am a strong man. strong and powerful man. i can lift great things. probably some of the best things. i guarantee it.
Also, very disappointed climate change isn't coming up. Clinton could prove that she cares and Trump would be shown to be a complete idiot on the subject.
actual solutions to climate change would require us changing/overhauling our economic system + moving away from consumer culture, can't be doin with that.
fox news, "fair" and """balanced"""*
Yeah I know, according to r/The_Donald they're biased against him and honestly that's just not fair.
Debt and entitlements should be a laugh. I wonder how long Clinton will hound Trump for suggesting that we default on our national debt?
- Immigration
Will Trump finally be able to invoke 「THE WALL 」?
no fucking global warming, thanks debate commission for denying coverage to one of the largest most overarching topics of the 21st century
Trump is just gonna repeat " The global warming is a fake created by the chinese! It's only to reduce America competitiveness! " we would honestly gain nothing from it hillary clinton will just repeat "We need to do something and quick" in many different variations.
- Fitness to be President
Question to native speakers, does 'fitness' in this context exclusively translate to "the other candidate is physically/mentally unfit to be POTUS-- she doesn't have the STAMINAH!" or can it be a broader discussion about each candidate's personality?
Why does there need to be a 15 minute discussion on this lol
It should have no timer and then we'll really see who has the stamina
Question to native speakers, does 'fitness' in this context exclusively translate to "the other candidate is physically/mentally unfit to be POTUS-- she doesn't have the STAMINAH!" or can it be a broader discussion about each candidate's personality?
I think they've left the topic deliberately vague.
Global Warming/Climate Change is invariably tied with energy policy which was already asked at the last debate. Both of their answers sucked and droning on it won't do anything.
Fitness could be in regards to one's dedication and prior experience
Question to native speakers, does 'fitness' in this context exclusively translate to "the other candidate is physically/mentally unfit to be POTUS-- she doesn't have the STAMINAH!" or can it be a broader discussion about each candidate's personality?
I LIKE MY PRESIDENT LIKE I LIKE PORNSTAR : VERY ENDURANT
Question to native speakers, does 'fitness' in this context exclusively translate to "the other candidate is physically/mentally unfit to be POTUS-- she doesn't have the STAMINAH!" or can it be a broader discussion about each candidate's personality?
Donald Trump would interpret it that way. But it's a dumb category because a politicians policies are their fitness as president. The entire election season is determine their fitness
Question to native speakers, does 'fitness' in this context exclusively translate to "the other candidate is physically/mentally unfit to be POTUS-- she doesn't have the STAMINAH!" or can it be a broader discussion about each candidate's personality?
Likely both.
Question to native speakers, does 'fitness' in this context exclusively translate to "the other candidate is physically/mentally unfit to be POTUS-- she doesn't have the STAMINAH!" or can it be a broader discussion about each candidate's personality?
It's kind of everything, but mostly your character and experience. For example one common job interview question will be something along the lines of "what makes you fit for this job?" in which you answer by describing how your personality and experience make you fit. Pretty much like this version of fit, how well you fit into the position
Thanks. Sounds like a somewhat boring selection of topics, though the Supreme Court one could be interesting.
Debt and entitlements should be a laugh. I have never seen any politician form a policy to directly attack the debt until Trump, and I really like the idea.

He did indeed suggest to default on our debt at one point. His 'clarified' position is a fanciful dream, and is still terrible policy.

The last paragraphs actually say the strategy would work, but it wouldn't make much difference on its own. I can't speak to a Trump budget though without not-vague figures, which nobody has given us.
No fucking NASA... or climate change
Question to native speakers, does 'fitness' in this context exclusively translate to "the other candidate is physically/mentally unfit to be POTUS-- she doesn't have the STAMINAH!" or can it be a broader discussion about each candidate's personality?
nah we're talking evolutionary fitness which candidate has the most reproductive success
[t]http://i.imgur.com/X07EPze.png[/t] http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/10/12/topics-announces-for-final-presidential-debate.html
Hopefully it doesn't get derailed like every other debate. I rewatched the 2000 presidential debate that was in STL at Wash U, and it was amazing how different the two candidates then are from the current candidates. Not saying they were necessarily better but I feel Bush and Gore were both more fit than our two current candidates.
