Last December, astronaut Chris Hadfield recorded the first song in space aboard the International Space Station, and he's back today with the first music video from space: a cover of David Bowie's "Space Oddity."
sauce I love living in the future. Also lens flare.
I want to time travel back to 1960 and show them this video

I love chris hadfield
Too bad he's coming back down soon
Some voice that guy's got. Awesome video.
What an awesome space commander guy.
I single-teared.
I never knew he has such a great singing voice.
rocket up that man a grammy!
In a music video, I found it extremely weird to see this [t]http://puu.sh/2ShLB.png[/t] And know that's not some CGI shit going on in the background
That is amazing!
That was beautiful.
i hope someone has informed david bouey that his song about space was just preformed in space, idk if he cares about that sort of stuff but i know i would love to hear that

Simply amazing
beautiful
Is this his last mission, or are there any plans for him to go back up? Goddamn I really wish humanity gets it's shit together, to the point where we can at least book a vacation to LEO for a reasonable price.
In the shots with the planet in the backdrop, have a look at how fast it seems to be spinning. That's because the space station orbits the Earth at 7690.47 meters per second. That's almost Mach 23.
You can really tell how much it pains him to leave the beauty of space. Not only in the changed lyrics, but his expressions and tone of voice. I loved this, and am adding it to my iPod so I can hear something from space every once in a while.

This was so good. I teared up their from all the emotion Chris put in this video
The amount of production value is in the billions
There's more emotion in this song than every song on the charts right now combined. It's beautiful.
See you space cowboy...
Jesus christ what
Some people are comically stupid. Sadly, nothing new here.
