Delta, before you start or even join a match, I (Strongly) suggest you go to the armies thread, actually read the CC I gave you and actually look at the tutorials I told you to check.
Having an attractive army isn't everything or even exactly necessary, however I still think you should follow Recon's advice because from what you have shown in the Civ topic, I don't believe your writing or storytelling skills are really strong enough to make up for the lack of nice artwork.
And honestly if men with guns is the best you can do then your imagination could do with a little improvement too.

Most of their vehicles are smaller when compared to normal human tech, like their sub that holds only one person, their underwater drop pod, aircraft, and other things. At that time a Captain is also using a drop pod to deploy into battle. Through their microphones the two pilots communicate.
