Based off the 1982 comic written by Dave Stevens, The Rocketeer is an adventure movie produced by Disney in 1991. The story is about a young pilot named Cliff Secord (played by Bill Campbell) who discovers a rocket pack that had been stolen from the laboratory of Howard Hughes. However, it turns out that the mob is after it, hired by the famous movie star Neville Sinclair (played by Timothy Dalton) who is a secred Nazi spy, hoping to use the rocket to conquer the world with flying Nazi soldiers.
The Rocketeer was an excellent but incredibly underrated movie. The plot was fun, the acting was great, the effects were excellent, and it was overall an incredibly entertaining movie. Makes you wonder why it never got much publicity, and why it is hardly remembered.
Its a very fun movie to those who never saw it before, but I think that you'll agree that if you have seen it before as a kid, watching it again makes you explode with nostalgia.

Thank God for Movies on Demand. I got to see this movie a few months back, it was indeed a good movie.
When I was a little kid, I loved this movie so much my dad built me my very own cardboard rocket backpack. No joke.
Then I left it out in the rain. :suicide:
One of my friends from a long time ago had a Rocketeer costume.
Another one of those movies that I love watching.
I had a kickass rocketeer costume for Halloween.
I was like, five or something. It rocked.
I demand pics of said costume. This was a badass movie.

Wow, I didn't know that... rated you Informative ;)
Also, for what I've read so far on the IMDb forums, there's no Blu-ray Disc version of this movie, all we can find is a rather poor DVD conversion, not even a "Special Edition" of it... damn you Disney :/
