• I don't know if anyone is real anymore...

Recently, over the past few months - a concept that has embedded deeply into the roots of my mind, has over shadowed my beliefs in reality. I no longer believe that other people exist other than me and feel that I'm merely in a form of simulator, dream or physical environment in which everyone (including all other entities that appear self-conscious) are merely pseudo self-aware entities. I also feel that this could be some kind of game in which everything - the environment - is autonomous but features additional plug-in points from which I can provide input. I'm wondering if anyone can prove to me that they actually exist against the above conditions and can also give me absolute proof that they're not scripted and exist as an actual self.

I exist because I see and I hear and I do shit. Works for me.
-snip-
I used to think the same. Therefore I am real.
Oh shit guys he's on to us
I'm sure many of us have had these thoughts and feelings before. It's simply a phase on the questioning of reality and what you perceive as real. Don't dive too far into the rabbit hole, or you'll drive yourself insane.
Damn it guys! He figured it out.
Welcome to the third grade may I help you
Welcome to the third grade may I help you
yes please
I'm pretty sure I'm real. Fairly certain.
I used to think the same. Therefore I am real.
But that might not have been 'you' - you might not actually exist and that could have been a scripted response.
What if OP is a robot.
I know I'm real because I'm always right, and I believe that I'm real, so therefore I'm correct in believing that I'm real, which means I undoubtedly exist.
I'm real, OP isn't
We don't know if we're all in some kind of giant simulator, and we'll never know, so why should we care?
I know I'm real because I'm always right, and I believe that I'm real, so therefore I'm correct in believing that I'm real, which means I undoubtedly exist.
But that could all be a pseudo response. As mentioned earlier, "you" might not actually exist and "feeling" may therefore not ascribe to your post.
I am real and so is my penis. Just saying.
NOTHING IS REAL THESE WALLS ARE METAPHORS OF MY MENTAL PERCEPTION OF MY OWN FICTIONAL REALITY THAT WAS CREATED BY SOMETHING WANTING ME TO THINK I AM REAL You're all robots!!

People are going to think you're an asshole.
Well you finally caught on! We all are scripted.
You're not real.
Welcome to the third grade may I help you
Kids in third grade go through this?
Isn't this kind of perception also somewhat selfish? "I am the only one who is real, everyone else is a puppet directed by the universe to respond to my decisions." That sounds a bit narcissistic to me. It's like you're saying the world revolves around you.

I'm real.

Read this, it might make you feel better. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mysterious_Stranger#Summary_of_Paine.27s_version "...And you are but a thought - a vagrant thought, a useless thought, a homeless thought, wandering forlorn among the empty eternities!"
