Spinning dryer lint into yarn - General

You know all that fluff that gets caught in the lint trap in the dryer? Why not spin it into yarn and make stuff out of it? Ever wonder where that lost sock went? Well, who cares? Make a new pair with the dryer lint. I don't see how this would not work. The next question would be how would you spin the stuff into yarn? Well, you can do it by hand, which was done for hundreds of years before the spinning wheel was invented, or you could try rolling it by hand, then use a drill to spin it tighter. The next step would be assembling the newly spun yarn into an article of clothing. Well for that you can knit or crochet. The problem is most people don't know how to do this. Well, the only way to get past that is to learn. My grandmother knits, and it does not look too difficult to learn, so with any spare time it could be done. What are the advantages of doing this? Well, think of all that fluff that sits in landfills. It could have a new life. However if you're too lazy to do any of this, then put it outside. Birds love this stuff to make nests.
