No he got the lottery numbers right, what your thinking of is when he fucked up a game of black jack.
To be fair the odds were pretty low for him to fail but they were still there.
You see, you have people like Derren Brown that can pull off a really good show, so it doesn't even matter how it's done or not...

Yeah you were right, for some reason I remembered it as the lottery. Just watched a clip and at the end the camera guy goes "Don't worry we'll get your five grand back" He temporarily lost 5 grand and that's how they ended it.
