Not even a parody thread. It seems my taste in movies is uncommon since most non-completely-mainstream movies I like have like 20 points on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic and shit like that. So let's see if anyone feels the same! Shining example: The Adventures of Pluto Nash. I love that film, it's silly and wacky and it's Eddie Murphy in space. And everyone I've met who has seen it didn't like it, and every review website gives it half a star. Off the top of my head, I recall Hackers having some pretty shit scores. And I've watched that like four times now.
Equilibrium.
The National Treasure movies. They're bad, every critic hates them, everything about them is completely idiotic, but they have a special place in my heart.
The omega man
Equilibrium.
Most people I know liked the movie. It just wasn't well received by critics.
Cabin Fever
Cabin Fever
good movie
good movie
i thought everyone hated it. i found it surprisingly good, and really funny in parts
I liked the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy, maybe because of the action mostly.
I loved Mr. Nobody. Some people say that it's boring and too long but I wouldn't change a thing.
Not necessarily love. But here's a list of movies that I really like even though no on else does. The first Transformers The Island National Treasure Spiderman 3 Hulk (2003) Indiana Jones 4 Iron Man 2 The A-Team The Back to the Future sequels Starsky and Hutch Ted Terminator Salvation Oh god they're all super mainstream, I hate myself :(
Judge Dredd with Stallone.
I remember The Punisher getting average to poor reviews but I really liked it a lot.
Tank Girl.
Southland Tales
The A-Team
Snakes on a Plane.
The National Treasure movies. They're bad, every critic hates them, everything about them is completely idiotic, but they have a special place in my heart.
I didn't know that a lot of people hated them. I loved them so much and they were perfect in my eyes.
The only downer I have with the National Treasure movies are they were an okay concept with okay execution.
First Mission: Impossible.
I think Crank 2 is a work of genius.
I think Crank 2 is a work of genius.
Both of those movies are horribly misunderstood.
Anything with Liam Neeson in it.
Back to the Future III.
First Mission: Impossible.
Who doesn't like the first Mission: Impossible? I thought it was great.
Tremors
The Room. It's one of those "oh gawd, did they just say/do that? lol" movies. So bad, it's good.
Twins
Johnny Mnemonic
The Room. It's one of those "oh gawd, did they just say/do that? lol" movies. So bad, it's good.
I think everyone likes this movie for that exact reason, but I personally think it's a legitimate piece of shit with a few unintentionally funny moments, the rest of the movie is boring as hell and I really don't get why people like it beyond those few funny scenes.
