What game would you like to see in the movie?
Well I prefer Dead Space, because when I start the game, it feels like I'm watching a movie.
Also, I found a list for the upcoming releases, but not all the tittle are in it.

Halo, Peter Jackson, Neil Blomkamp, WETA.

FOOOOOOX!
UNIVEEERSAAAL!
Team Fortress 2 and Half Life series
None, game movies are always terrible.
I'd like to see Silent Hill and Resident Evil remade competently.

i agree
Half-Life and Half-Life 2
Any of the Harry Potter games, I think they'd be great films!

If i had to choose, i would suspect Metal Gear Solid.
The last game alone have material for 10+ sequels.

go away

but really, after the "meet the ____" videos and the left 4 dead 1 intro video, i think that valve should try their hand with an animated movie
L4D1, HL2 and TF2.

Hey, Hitman was cool!
I'd like to see a Splinter Cell movie, or a movie based on the Bad Company storyline, it ain't great but I love it's characters.
There's enough stories behind all the characters in GTA IV for several movies
L4D2 would be a good movie if Valve made it the same way they did the opening trailer scene thing.

Yes it is a known fact all video game movies are shit. Silent Hill I think is the best one, but I'm not saying it's good.
books --> Movies = accaptable (ah, Harry Potter, so nice to see you.)
Books --> games = rare, but the examples aren't to bad (hello, Rainbow Six)
Movies --> games = Common, sometimes deacent. (hello avatar. Get the fuck off my cat.)
Books --> movies --> games = a franchise. might be good, but probably best you just avoid them. (Oh, your still here, Harry?)
Games --> Books = fanfiction. The domain of geeks.
Games --> movies = No. not even once. just don't do it.
Just look at the shit they called "DooM"
My fuck was that a absolute garbage bin.
I would have to say, STALKER.
Follow the same storyline as CoS.
Long running comic series --> movies = potential for awesomeness.

but that's off topic

Half Life should never be made into a film unless they somehow did it without Gordon Freeman. Freeman is the player, and making Freeman a character of his own ruins that.
How about life as one of the Black Mesa personnel?
I mean, maybe they could see Gordon a few times and mention shit to him.
I mean, maybe he'd just go "ggrrnnn" (groan noise) and just be running all over running out of breath.
Yeah, he wouldn't say anything, but maybe use a bit of sign language. Putting his finger (next to the thumb) up to say "Hang on" whilst he's bent over out of breath could mean that he needs a moment.
Then after a cup of tea, bam.
Meet up with a Barney, see people die, watch epic explosions, jaw-dropping Valve intro. :v:
