If you really wanted, you could freeze your sperm or not idk
Maybe, but my chances are so low I'm fairly sure that women would rather loot a sperm bank than reproduce with me during an apocalypse.
All the more reason to not want to have children at all
No one expects you to want children the average Facepuncher is in high school
If you really think that's never going to change though then that's kind of naive

Considering a lot of us first joined up when Garry's Mod was in its prime, I'd say a lot of people here are college aged.
As for the subject at hand: If you plan to not have children, but you think you may change your mind when you're 40+, you ought to get your sperm frozen.

College aged is still not exactly surprising.
I intend on waiting as long as possible for the highest chance of autism

99 is the optimal age.
By the time I may be so old that my kid may be autistic, there may be medical advances that get rid of that problem. One thing is sure, I will ask the doc to check for anything that may indicate that my child could be in any way damaged. And if it is, I want it to be aborted.
It is child abuse to put a child with irreparably disadvantages into the world.

sounds like eugenics
where do you draw the line
Me and my girlfriend both agreed to not want kids. We both hate them. I have thoughts of raising one with things that I don't have, teaching him the valuables of life, discipline, how to survive when alone, independence.
Then I think of how much it would cost and then it pretty much vanishes.
Well, I probably wouldn't end up being a good father, anyway
I don't want children.
30~ is when I'm waiting
I want children but I think i'm only going to plan to have one.

this is something people have been telling me forever and it really depresses me knowing I could one day want a child

at his own body
I wonder if stored sperm that is 5 years old is better than new sperm from someone 5 years older.
I only have 15 years till I'm 35. Assuming it takes me 5 years from now to meet someone, then another 5 years after that to really meet someone I'd marry, then 3 years after that to hopefully be engaged, then about a year to get settled into our lives before thinking about babies. I'll be around 34 if I'm lucky.
Shit.

Get sperm frozen at 20, get wife pregnant at 40, baby is born and is already 20 years old.

Seems kind of...incredibly piece-of-shittish to say that children aren't worth it because money.

Better to not have kids if you can't support them financially.
People are expensive, and kids are especially expensive.

At least they'll take care of you when you're old as shit.
Or leave you in a rest home if they're jerks.
well now i know why i can barely pay attention in my classes, acted fucking retarded in elementary-middle school, and do overall poor in school.

No, it's incredibly piece-of-shittish to purposely birth a kid that you can't afford.

What's the deal with eugenics, anyway? Why do people react so aggressively against it when it is so much as mentioned?
No, it's incredibly piece-of-shittish to purposely birth a kid that you can't afford.
Yeah but there's a difference between being able to afford something and being able to afford it and also live the exact same way you did before.
