That gun looked to be a Smart Parts Ion paintball marker, though I am unsure because the regulator (the forward grip) is a little short.

It's an Ion with a CP reg, as stereotypical as that is.
Also he was loading in 3 at a time through the feedneck without a hopper, he was trying to play pseudo-pump.
All-in-all that wasn't [i]too[/i] inaccurate a scene of paintball.
Although I find it funny how in the beginning it's a bunch of guys with EGOs and DMs vs a bunch of Tippman 98s, then later in the video the teams are more balanced.

Most definitely a Bob Long Victory. Not a Mini or Luxe, those are very easy to distinguish.
Now that I look, you're right, the trigger guard and the bottom of the reg look nothing like a Luxe.

Probably just for comic relief. I think it's funny to imagine it actually like that in a video game, though.
With that said, the video was.. nice. But to be honest, I expected like an actual video game-styled paintball whatever. It has nice COD-like effects, and the chat was a nice touch and everything, but the execution is ehh.

It depends on where you play. Our local field down here has the bang bang/ surrender rules for both paintball and airsoft. If they catch you shooting at such a short distance you'll be warned, then asked to sit out, and finally kicked out if its too much of a problem.
The fields out of the city however dont care about engagement distances, or even field paint. You have to wear full face masks still, but airsoft out there is just harsh considering theres not an FPS you have to stay under at any distance.
