WUB WUB WUB SLO-MO!
That was actually pretty cool.
Here's the 1080p upload
Hmm, what happened to his ammo tank at :55?
Hmm, what happened to his ammo tank at :55?
Its a musket-style paintball gun
fucking sick..
Fun fact, The entire thing was shot in 8 second video's. After that they stitched them together.
I'm starting to hate dubstep more and more everyday.
that was cool except the ridiculous amount of slo-mo, it could have been a 10 second clip if they didn't slow down EVERYTHING
I wish paintball wasn't so damn expensive. Only done it once. Also, funny thing. The guy who directed the video's (name at the end) name is Iranian. For some odd reason his last name means "Farmer" in English. :v:
Its a musket-style paintball gun
There's no such thing. That gun looked to be a Smart Parts Ion paintball marker, though I am unsure because the regulator (the forward grip) is a little short.

Also he was loading in 3 at a time through the feedneck without a hopper, he was trying to play pseudo-pump. All-in-all that wasn't too inaccurate a scene of paintball. Although I find it funny how in the beginning it's a bunch of guys with EGOs and DMs vs a bunch of Tippman 98s, then later in the video the teams are more balanced. [editline]19th September 2011[/editline] There was an absolutely obscene amount of bunkering going on there, though. [editline]19th September 2011[/editline] Actually that's not an Ion, that's either a Bob Long Victory or Luxe, I can't tell. It has no macroline though. And it's not a Mini.
Eugh, I'd hate to play in that game. Seems to be no engagement distance rules at all. Run right up in there and take 3 of them out, even if you get blasted in the face.
I'm starting to hate dubstep more and more everyday.
I'm starting to love dubstep more and more everyday.
the people's reactions are hilariously bad get shot in the chest with a paintball UGH SO PAINFUL COLLAPSE TO THE GROUND
I never tried airsoft or paintball in my life :smith:
Pretty cool filming style, but I don't get why the dog is in there at all?
Actually that's not an Ion, that's either a Bob Long Victory or Luxe, I can't tell. It has no macroline though. And it's not a Mini.
Most definitely a Bob Long Victory. Not a Mini or Luxe, those are very easy to distinguish.
Now that I look, you're right, the trigger guard and the bottom of the reg look nothing like a Luxe.
Pretty cool filming style, but I don't get why the dog is in there at all?
Probably just for comic relief. I think it's funny to imagine it actually like that in a video game, though. With that said, the video was.. nice. But to be honest, I expected like an actual video game-styled paintball whatever. It has nice COD-like effects, and the chat was a nice touch and everything, but the execution is ehh.
Eugh, I'd hate to play in that game. Seems to be no engagement distance rules at all.
It depends on where you play. Our local field down here has the bang bang/ surrender rules for both paintball and airsoft. If they catch you shooting at such a short distance you'll be warned, then asked to sit out, and finally kicked out if its too much of a problem. The fields out of the city however dont care about engagement distances, or even field paint. You have to wear full face masks still, but airsoft out there is just harsh considering theres not an FPS you have to stay under at any distance.
