Within the first 5 seconds we're assaulted with a shitload of noise.
Yep, it's a brutal mod.
I was expecting Brutal Doom quality but that was just so... terrible.
The guns are too out of place and the sound is just bad.
The gun noises sound like they were ripped from CoD 1.
good god that SMG during reload is butt-ugly
you'd think they would at least clean up the artifacts
It almost seems like a Brutal parody wad at first, but then they start playing it and you realize that no, it isn't. Egh.

Then you realize what the more extreme Brutal Doom fans are like.

I mean RotT is a great game but
Why?
it looks artificially difficult than actually difficult

My guess is because previously, ROTT was supposed to be a 2nd Wolfenstein game.
I'm pretty sure the STG-44 is from Call Of Duty 4.
Nothing wrong with Brutal Doom, besides the creator himself. If you want a toned down brutal mod, try Smooth Doom.
Are all the guns seriously cropped from the first Call of Duty and just painted over?
Come on, man, even I can put more effort into a sprite than that.
its not wolfenstein with out the "mein leben"s
I saw this one on Doomworld a while ago. It was called shit there too. It's literally Brutal Doom with loads more stolen assets.

It's not even a Wolfenstein mod.
This is so pathetic, those death animations look like they were made by a 11 y/o in paint. Wich is probably true, considering.
Also, wtf is wrong with the firing animation?
And are those blood decals from HL1?
That video is from a really old version, there's a 4.5 version out which is miles and miles better:

Sprites still suck, sound is off, HUD is fucking UGLY, gameplay doesn't look very refined. Nah, it's still crap.
Also, I bet that custom music takes up a shit ton of space.
The gun noises sound like they were ripped from CoD 1.
They were. The creator credits Infinity Ward and Treyarch.

In all fairness, most Doom mods typically have content from other games. Even WildWeasel (one of zDoom forums finest) does this.

The HL1 thingy was mostly out of curiosity, actually. It felt really familiar and I wanted a confirmation. In a similar note to that, are the taunts in the video from TF2's engi? They are sounding so out of place in Wolf3D.
Also, I feel like the whole blood on ceiling that BD does really doen't fit on Wolf3D, because the game was mapped with tall sprites and low ceilings, making all the blood spawn stick on the ceiling and making a lot of visual noise in a small area. Tbh the entire thing looks cramped, but that was what mainly bothered me.
