Researchers in Germany have developed software that allows you to drive a car - with a mobile phone.
It is part of project aimed at creating a fully automated vehicle.
The BBC's Berlin correspondent Steve Rosenberg tried it out.

late and not all that cool. People do this all the time.
You guys misread the title, it's supposed to mean that you can use your phone to drive a car.
Cool.
That's a really stupid thing to do. When GPS's don't even have like 1/5 of the roads (at least where I live) how will it drive efficiently, assuming it is fully automated like the article says.
Reminds me of 007 - Tomorrow Never Dies.

You didn't watch the video. He's using an iPhone to control the acceleration, the brakes, and moving it side to side to steer it.
Its a cool idea but this would have such a bad outcome.
What if you are busy driving a truck containing explosives and your battery dies? This is a terrible idea.

Your truck stops obviously, considering it needs power to do the acceleration.
