This was my first real attempt to make something that actually resembled a song using Reason 4. Feedback would be appreciated. http://snd.sc/aYAVew
good for a starter :) please listen to my 2 orchestral songs :D http://soundcloud.com/showtek1 Edit: Reason 4,Cubase are really hard music making products but really powerfull. Fl Studio is easy and fun music making product as you can see the orchestral songs are made in fl studio . So on im not pushing you to change your type in witch program is better.
at the start i wasnt sure if it was coming out of my headphones or speakers add some polish and you have a nice little song

This was just two chords alternating the entire song. But hey, that's just me.
please listen to my 2 orchestral songs :D http://soundcloud.com/showtek1
Songs 1 & 2 sound exactly alike, just that you have switched pads. And how are they orchestral? I do like the melody though, but unfortunately, it just loops. The whole first song therefore sounds like a build-up without a peak. And like I mentioned, the second song sounds just like the first, except that you have changed the melody slightly. Just because you change instruments doesn't make a song or melody sound different. I get the impression that that's what you do to try to carry the song forward, instead of coming up with new parts. BUT at least all these pieces actually had chord sequences and melodies and structure. And that's waaay better than what you would normally hear around here (believe it or not). So you guys should definitely keep it up, because you have potential.
It's ok. The drums don't go well with the song at all though.
