Officers fear that the suspects might try to swap vehicles.

Word on the street is, the guy won it big last week in a Lottery, and that's the reason he was killed, for the money, apparently 100,000 dollars. Personally, I didn't know the guy, but murders around here are rarer than unicorns.

I don't know about you but if he was killed for the money then it would be a very stupid mistake for the robber to redeem it if you think about it carefully enough.

He wins the lotto, spends $100,000 on a SUV made of gold, forcing him to stay at some fleabag motel since he now has no money, whereupon a couple of gold toothed sports fans decide they will rob him of his money. But the joke's on them since he's broke. So they take what they think is his cheap ass SUV instead and shoot him because that's how they roll. Haha, they are probably ramming that SUV into cars in every parking lot they see, trying to enjoy themselves as best you can in these difficult times. As they drive down the street the damaged SUV is dropping chunks of gold. To catch them the police need to follow the yellow brick road.
