FINALLY! I can't wait for this; Wolf was a strong progression for Tyler, and he said in an interview he wants to go more into that direction

Eh, not a big fan of FUCKING YOUNG / PERFECT; I really hope the voice changers (which are higher now?) aren't on almost every track like Goblin.
[del]Here's a less annoyingly worded article, for some reason I can't edit my OP.[/del] Nevermind I was able to edit it.
Might be cool.
I love this trend of artists announcing their album only a few days/weeks before release date. So much more refreshing than waiting several months in anticipation.

Its the smart thing to do too.
Its just way more profitable to make the big announcement and then asap drop the album so that the announcement is in everyone's head still. It's just a side effect of a populated market.
he is also starting a magazine called Golf i think, 5$ a month and you get both physical and digital versions I assume, first two months are free.

Earl's new album was a huge step forward, can't wait to see what Tyler's will be like. I'm even more excited for Frank Ocean's next album.
2015's going to be a phenomenal year.
still haven't heard Earl's new album
I think 2015 is the year of rap tbh, it's been fantastic so far

I like fucking young opposed to deathcamp tbh

hey he ruined his one word song titles, what the fuck
Heck ya, been waiting for a while now for this!
damn that first track is good
I don't really feel these two, but I'll give the albums a listen anyways. I'm not really impressed by the vocals on these couple tracks to be honest. Let's wait and see.
In other news, whatever happenned to tyler wanting to make jazz?
the second track is killer. I read in a recent interview tyler was getting into 70s soul and it shows

it's cool to see him expanding as an artist i think it's a dope direction for him
I prefer the 2nd than the first to be honest. Also perfect (the 2nd song on fucking young) is fucking great
According to some iTunes info someone found there are credits to Kanye, Pharrell, Lil Wayne and Schoolboy Q. Should be good.

Music video!
fire
Although not as good as 94, this year is certainly amazing for this new internet hip hop age
getting pretty sick of tylers "random and bizarre" persona, and those two tracks are more of the same thing we heard from him in 2013 except somehow worse, this time lacking in both rhythm and lyrical value.
he was never good at either at the same time, but most tracks he put out in the past had either lyrical flow or catchy rhythm. deathcamp has neither and it's literally just unintelligible gibberish. fucking young is sort of okay but still not close to his past albums. all in all not really interested. it's just more of the same yet worse and uninspired.
maybe im getting too old for this particular sub genre.
I didn't know this guy was an artist. I thought he was some twitter weirdo like dril

deathcamp is super ultra N.E.R.D. inspired, which definitely isn't for everyone - bordering on the very edge of what's defined as hip-hop. He even mentions in search of (which he mentions insanely often because it's a great album).
odd future in general was a fad from 2010-2012, and it's died out quite a bit. they're all searching for artistry/relevancy/etc outside of their explosive popularity back then since it's dying out pretty quickly now. Frank Ocean's all set with his style, Earl's gaining some ground now that he's broken out of the monotone graphic depressing aesop-rock-alike style, and Tyler's still continuing on the same colorful/random/bizarre path he set up so heavily in Wolf.
dunno if they'll all be able to keep up continued widespread popularity, but I can see earl/tyler going the way of kid cudi - moderately popular with a super dedicated fanbase, but pretty much abandoned by the average listener.
Earls new album is straight fire he's just starting to carve out his name in mainstream rap. tyler'll be fine as long as he breaks out of the sub genre odd future defined for themselves, if the rest of the album is like fucking young it'll be great... if it's like deathcamp i'll be super disappointed in tyler as an artist
tyler broke out of the rape kill sub genre that odd future defined when he released wolf

dude, tyler is the creator. he's everything.
Fucking Young sounds like an OutKast track.
Im seeing tyler at Fvded in the Park in July, can't wait.

What else has come out this year so far (or plans to)? Genuinely curious.

Artists that have dropped this year:
Kendrick Lamar
Drake
Lupe Fiasco
Action Bronson
Earl Sweatshirt
Joey Badass
Big Sean
Wale
Ghostface & BBNG
Death Grips (if you consider them hip-hop)
Probably forgetting a handful, but those are the biggest ones I think.

I've listened to it about 2 or 3 times and I just still can't get in the "Man I want to listen to the album today." Will agree that he's a great lyricist in it but I just finding it a little harder to groove with.
Juicy J is coming out with T.H.C. in July I believe, on the upcoming albums note
