While MGM, Sony, and EON Productions have been trying to keep a lid on all things Bond as the twenty-third film, Skyfall, races toward release, it was inevtiable that something was going to get out of hand. That something in this case is the title tune from Adele. Officially announced only days ago and partially leaked then, the full song has now hit the internet hours ahead of the planned “official” premiere. (That premiere is set for 0:07 GMT / 7:07EST tonight.)
This leak isn’t anything that is going to hurt the film, however, because the tune is a good one that calls back to the most classic notions of Bond. Rich in orchestral swells and Shirley Bassey overtones, this is a lush, gorgeous bit of audio to accompany Bond’s trip back to the big screen. You can purchase the track for real tomorrow, but in the meantime hit the break to listen to the whole thing.
The Film Stage has the embed via a French radio station that jumped the gun with the song.
As most likely know, Skyfall features a strong supporting cast in Javier Bardem, Bérénice Marlohe, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Judie Dench, Ben Whishaw, Ola Rapace, Helen McCrory, Tonia Sotiropoulou, and Albert Finney. The film opens in the UK on October 26 and the US on November 9th, with IMAX shows on the 8th.
In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M (JUDI DENCH) is tested as her past returns to haunt her. 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. When Bond’s latest assignment goes gravely wrong and agents around the world are exposed, MI6 is attacked forcing M to relocate the agency. These events cause her authority and position to be challenged by Gareth Mallory (RALPH FIENNES), the new Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee. With MI6 now compromised from both inside and out, M is left with one ally she can trust: Bond. 007 takes to the shadows – aided only by field agent, Eve (NAOMIE HARRIS) – following a trail to the mysterious Silva (JAVIER BARDEM), whose lethal and hidden motives have yet to reveal themselves.

Wow, she totally captured it. She's actually really awesome.
It's got that great old school 007 mysterious feel. Really want to watch this at the cinema.

Them two plus diamonds are forever are definitely my favourites, but I also liked the one for casino royale.
Holy fuck I don't hate it. I really like it actually
daniel craig is such a weird looking guy
I love chris cornell's performance for casino royale

Props to Adele.

Better video that isnt going to blow your ears out
One of the few singers that can actually sing. Not a fan though.
I'm glad that people are positive about this, it's getting annoying hearing people say how much they hate her mainly because she's popular (and occasionally because she's fat). She's got a good voice and writes good songs.
Definitely digging the mood, very Bondy. She's not my favorite type of music, but there's no denying her talent. Good choice.
You can hear the microphone going static-y at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HKoqNJtMTQ&feature=player_detailpage#t=126s but god damn, this is a good song.

i'm really not fond of her songs at all. i imagine most people who hate her because she's popular hate her because her songs are schlock that just copy Nancy Sinatra's gig without doing anything new or interesting.
Fine piece of work but doesn't do anything for me, sounds like any other bond theme to me but then again I do not like the whole Bond stuff but I can imagine the fans will like it so ah, well.
Good luck for the movie.
Fucking amazing.
Is it just her accent, or does she sound like her she's singing like she bit her tongue at some parts.
Probably accent.
Sounds damn good, sounds like a Bond theme song unlike the last two which weren't anything special.
Wow, the song went to #70 on iTunes in 40 minutes.

Best Bond theme, no contest.

Guys you forgot this. I mean I didn't really like 70's bond, but this intro theme was fucking kickass.

This is very good, but Chris Cornell captures Craig's Bond character perfectly.

That's probably cuz it's a leak/youtube quality.

No, that is the official video. I think they messed with the quality to make people buy the song
My favorites will always be Casino Royale and Goldfinger, but this is damn good.
My favorite bond song:
