In order to do that someone would have to tell it about operational matters! That would be commenting on operational matters! We can't comment on operational matters! What if the monster is a boat person itself! Then we would be commenting on operational matters to the very thing we don't want to comment on operational matters on to!

Most likely military band radar (either X,K,L-bands) interfering with the BOM's(aka Bureau of Meteorology) radar,possibly something in relation to the LHD's we're currently assembling.
Or it could just be another part of our flora and fauna preparing another super serpent to add to the already full 'most deadly animals in aus'
