Fun Fact: An American B-24 co-pilot bailed out of his plane when it caught fire, as did a lot of the crew. The pilots were shooting the guys that managed to bail out while they were parachuting so the co-pilot played dead. One Japanese pilot flew very slowly within feet of him and opened his canopy to look at him. That's when the co-pilot drew his M1911 and shot a single round at the Japanese pilot. The plane then stalled and tumbled to earth
isn't it against some convention of war to shoot at bailed pilots/sailors?
isn't it against some convention of war to shoot at bailed pilots/sailors?
I dunno about you but I stopped giving all the shits about historical accuracy when I first heard that they were making a WW1 battlefield.

Holy shit Motorcycles confirmed guys:
We've seen the motorcycles with side cabs in other trailers, but hopefully we get the single motorcycles as well, or the side cab as an add-on you can put on them. What'd be even better is if the regular motorcycle could have two people on it, but if you add the side cab you could have three. It'd be close to the buggies from BF2.
isn't it against some convention of war to shoot at bailed pilots/sailors?
Yes. International Humanitarian Law Rule 48. https://ihl-databases.icrc.org/customary-ihl/eng/docs/v2_rul_rule48 Basically you can't shoot at a distressed parachutist, and once they land you have to give them a chance to surrender. But if they are airborne troops or choose to pick up arms once they land, they are fair game. That B-24 pilot mentioned by TheTalon would also be fair game, because he opened fire while parachuting.
@0:52
Oh yeah. Fuck. I completely forgot about that.

Look up the Bataan Death March, they were worse than the Nazis in some regards.

Anyway his account is pretty inconsistent with records and stuff, would take it with a grain of salt.
isn't it against some convention of war to shoot at bailed pilots/sailors?
If you're talking about TheTalons post, the Japanese didn't really give a fuck about conventions of war or human rights.

Aren't they planning to do some livestream to show off all the maps or game modes like a week before release? Also can we PLEASE get some Destroyer and Submarine confirmation because I don't want to spend 10 minutes in the spawn screen just to get a slot in the Dreadnought.
