A fox. Unfortunately, no pictures of the White House fox are available.
Illustrators of children's books, here is your next story:
The U.S. government has shut down and the woodland creatures of Washington, D.C., use the decline in human presence to take over the grounds of the White House.
Squirrels frolic in the first lady's vegetable garden, feasting on overgrown tomato vines. Bees are left to their own devices, their waxy cells dripping with uncollected honey. The birds have a field day with plants left to go to seed. And at dusk and dawn there comes the fox, treading gingerly through the long grass of the South Lawn.
All this and more is happening in real life, according to Eddie Gehman Kohan, the author of the Obama Foodorama blog, which chronicles food (and foodie) policy as it relates to the White House. The government shutdown, now entering its third week, has sidelined groundskeepers at the White House, who are barred from tending Michelle Obama's kitchen garden and other White House plant life beyond the most basic acts of watering and taking out the trash.
our president is an animorph my dream is alive :')
The wild is beginning to take over.
It's beginning.
The commies are taking over.
It's all well and good until they catch it, because people are going to want to hear the fox's opinion of the shutdown.
And then, who on earth will know what the fox says?

Seriously though, this is adorable.
Waiting for a patriotic bald eagle to swoop in and maul the commie.
Obama you better not mess this up. This is adorable.
Everyone is just jealous I get to stroll around the white house.
EDIT: Seriously, though, as long as it isn't doing any damage or such, I don't see the problem with it.
I hope they let it stay.
I hope they let it stay.
chances are that it will seek asylum in russia for leaking top secret government gardening tips.

Red Tide II: Fox In The Grass.
You know they're commies when they roam around for free.

I have to agree it would be pretty fucking badass if a bald eagle decided to put up a nest in the presidents office.

So it'll be the whole Raven situation in the tower of London?
If the Eagle are lost or fly away, freedom falls
I love fox news.
this makes me imagine the white house like a really old abandoned building with graffiti all over it, plywood over the windows and plant-life all over it
Holywood fuck off with your "several years later". All it took was a week.

Would it be better president than the last two?

WHY DO I KEEP FUCKING UP MY POSTS
That's adorable. Yeah, I hope they keep it. Just let it roam around.
Someone should kill all the animals that don't pay rent, we don't want to create dependence.
I love fox news.
Fuck you I came to post that.
Just let the Fox chill there for as long as it wants.
Why would you want to take the fox away? Let it chill there.
Government shutdown is just a republican plot to figure out what the fox says.
So what does it say?
So what does it say?
Evidently the fox says "thank you republicans"

Sounds like a fox edition of Cory In The House.
It really is a sad state of affairs when the shutdown has fucked shit up so bad we can't do some simple "pest" control.
Not that there's anything wrong with the fox, but its outright amazing that the "shutdown" is what's stopping them from removing it.
what did the fox say
shu-shu-shu-shutdown
aha
that was awful
im sorry..
Michelle, after a long day of fundraising and interviews, comes back to her prized garden, only to find it ruined by feasting squirrels.
She clenches her fists and whispers under her breath "I'll get you John Boehner"
