They're leaked images so I'm not going to make any opinions on it yet. They said it was going to be like the graphics upgrade from Halo 2 to Halo 3, so I'm hoping they're not going to lie.
I don't believe this is "leaked". It's just the company dropping a TOP SECRET document on the street, saying "OOPS, I DROPPED MY TOP SECRET DOCUMENT!!!1" and running off then spying around the next corner to make sure it's picked up by someone.

They were not released publicly by Bungie through their public means, nor were they released to all press (yet). Therefore, by definition, these are still leaked images.

It's the old spartan II armor
Actually, canonically, he's pretty spot on for a Spartan II. The others are all Spartan IIIs, made years after the Spartan IIs. They were lighter, faster, and smaller. This has been lore for a while, so its not some bullshit excuse they just made up.

Actually, most of those pictures are in the new Game Informer magazine that came out last week via a world-exclusive interview with Bungie. I have it in my hand.
So, technically, it was released to the public, but just a limited number of the public who then told the entire Internet about it.
I think Bungie might have those screenshots on their website as well.

Fuck ODST. I was all up for ODST Firefight, but no matchmaking for it. Fuck Bungie, I don't have friends and they just made it hurt more. :saddowns:

And I already said once in the very post that you quoted that Bungie has not yet released them publicly nor have they been released to all press yet. Exclusives to magazines are one thing that I would hope was understood already. In terms of the "Internet" they are leaked.
Am I the only one that thinks all Halo screenshots are INCREDIBLY dull. It's always a bunch of similar looking dudes in different coloured suits fighting, or a bunch of dudes fighting the same aliens we've seen in all of the other halo games in uninspired and bland ways. There's never anything new to see in these. You've seen one Halo screenshot and you've seen them all.

I saw the screenshots from the GameInformer magazine, the graphics were upgraded a lot.
