So, so many channels are doing this, I'm glad he can address it and start over.

That being said, I haven't found the main show super funny in a while tbh
This is good. The Tinker Time and Current Quickies could have just been Caddicarus episodes, and the Drive-thru Reviews were so short he barely got to say anything about the games. The only addition to the channel I think was good are the retrospectives, which he should only do for specials because spending almost a month on one thing is too much.
As he said, the Spyro video will just be one longer video for a retrospective, which I think can be a better format as he doesn't have to scrape for minor details to fill out the show length and he doesn't have to dedicate so much video time to the one thing.
I'm glad he said what his viewerbase was all saying. A few weeks ago I unsubbed from him because his channel was just going to be a bunch of shit I didn't care much for and I end up watching 10% of his stuff that comes in my sub box.
I personally think he should drop his schedule to one video a week though. Quality over quantity. Make the show with a monthly schedule with this show week 1, this week 2, this week 3, that week 4, and a bonus something week 5 if there is one. 3 videos a week still sounds like too much.

Thank god. I hardly found anything beyond the Caddicarus worth watching and I'm glad he's going back to what made his channel in the first place.

I think that'd probably just be a huge mess.
Since every reviewer has a completely different format, most people would only like a fraction of the content posted in a general thread like that.
This guy's shtick of holding a game's box and arbitrarily tilting it around always bugged me. It seemed so pointless, yet he did it for almost every thing. Other than that, he didn't have much going for him, honestly.
I found his style charming.
That being said, that puppet thing he started doing was the worst fucking addition to the channel, glad he is throwing it away

I think it was just a random thing. Caddy seems to enjoy creating running jokes which are never really brought up or made a big fuss of.

He's already hard at work on the 50th Caddicarus episode. When he told me the game choice for that one, my only response was 'of course'. It's definitely going to be the back-to-form episode, and if he achieves his vision for it, it's gonna have some awesome stuff in it as well.
And he's already done a small amount of work on the Caddicarus after that. I think the whole reboot thing is actually starting this weekend. If not then, it'll be the weekend after.
