So what makes an ad stand out? Nancy Pelosi’s challenger John Dennis uses a different tact – zombies. There’s also a sacrificial lamb and an over-the-top impersonation of Pelosi. The creation of Chris Burgard, who also cut ads for Herman Cain during his failed bid for the Republican presidential nomination, the new ad casts the California congressswoman as a cult leader of the living-dead as they prepare to sacrifice a lamb. “We must first gut the sacrifice so that you can find out what’s in the sacrifice,” the Pelosi impersonator says. The line is a parody of her now-infamous remark about the Affordable Healthcare Act where she said, “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.” Dennis, a pro-gay marriage, pro-marijuana Republican, is the hero of the skit, stepping in to save the lamb. Dennis lost to Pelosi in 2010.
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/10/pelosi-a-zombie-leader-in-new-attack-ad/ so this is what political attack ads have become...makes sense considering it's the same guy who made the Herman Cain ads
What the fuck did I just What
honestly i'm surprised that americans aren't voting for pineapples
All politicians lie about their opponents. Might as well have fun doing it. I was thinking the same thing not an hour ago while on the road. Make the lies something outrageous like eating kittens. Edit: Why all the boxes? Pelosi eating kittens is outrageous, right? ....Right?
That was disappointing. I kinda wanted to see what was inside the sacrifice.
honestly i'm surprised that americans aren't voting for pineapples
Damn Pineapples want to take your jobs and fuck your kids. Kiwi Fruit 2012
The video preview image made me think it was the underground museum from The Passing.
And this is why I don't pay any attention to the political race...it's also an example of why the two-party system in use here sucks big hairy donkey testicles. Instead of arguing points and why their side is better for America they just attack the other side's character. Bunch of fucking children.
honestly i'm surprised that americans aren't voting for pineapples
We'd be better off if we elected one TBH.

So yeah, Pelosi is bad and Boehner is bad, but Pelosi is bad because she still bends to the same corporate PACs everyone else does, and Boehner is bad because he does that and has more terrible supported policies all his own.
I'd vote for her.
+1 vote for pelosi

Are you sure this wasn't made by Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow? [editline]2nd October 2012[/editline] And why is there a Biker?
Dennis, a pro-gay marriage, pro-marijuana Republican
I thought they were a myth...
Are you sure this wasn't made by Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow?
I assume the 'tomorrow' refers to some hypothetical future where zombies roam free and unabashed, led by a zombie Nancy Pelosi?
I thought they were a myth...
We exist, well, they do, I'm more of a "I don't fucking care, do whatever" Republican.
I thought they were a myth...
They're like panda bears. Almost extinct.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she did.
Bad as it is, I don't think it beats these.

Frankly, I wouldn't really be surprised if Pelosi did (I'm referring to the title of the thread). ...She scares me... :C
I feel like the ad was meant to be ridiculous just for the purpose of catching the audience's attention. [sp]And it worked![/sp] Honestly though, other than cliché acting and stereotypes, it's not much different from most attack ads.
I thought they were a myth...
There's still a good amount of Libertarians in the Republican party because, quite frankly, third parties can't win under the current system.
There's still a good amount of Libertarians in the Republican party because, quite frankly, third parties can't win under the current system.
All the more reason to vote against Republicans
more politicians need to actually do this not take their campaign videos seriously and just pull off crazy shit
There's still a good amount of Libertarians in the Republican party because, quite frankly, third parties can't win under the current system.
man i hate that mindset "whelp, can't win by ourselves we better join with the fucked cunts who pretty much disagree with us in every way"
man i hate that mindset "whelp, can't win by ourselves we better join with the fucked cunts who pretty much disagree with us in every way"
Don't look at me, I'm planning on voting for a third-party candidate this election.
Don't look at me, I'm planning on voting for a third-party candidate this election.
don't worry i'm not! i just meant i hate that mindset in general it's a large reason why so many actually good candidates are just shrugged off as either republican psychos or democrat pussies [editline]3rd October 2012[/editline] or should i say democRAT
more politicians need to actually do this not take their campaign videos seriously and just pull off crazy shit
because the presidency and people who make and pass laws is something that should be joked about
You know the title is a little misleading. That looks like more of a zombie militia to me.
