Owners Chuck Robuck and Trish Brandt-Robuck spent two year trying to get the leg to heal — but it soon became so badly infected that Bella had to have it amputated. At first the 13-year-old llama tried to use three legs, but after a while the show-quality animal couldn’t get up — which would have meant her being put down. Back on her feet ... Bella with Trish Chris Murphy Trish, from California, went to artificial limbs specialist Michael Carlson — who usually works only with humans — and he built what may be the first artificial limb for a llama. Bella was lifted with a tractor and harness, and a mould of her remaining hind leg was cast. Wearing the prosthesis for six to eight hours a day, she is now steady on her feet once again. The new fake leg means that every morning, when the prosthesis is strapped on, the first thing she does is scratch her belly with the remaining back leg. Trish said: "I barely get that leg on and she goes to scratch. "They are lovely animals. After a stressful day, watching them allows you to totally unwind." Un-Bella-ievable ... the prosthetic limb Chris Murphy Bella is now being trained to walk backwards and step through a hula hoop. "We would like to take her to where kids are having trouble with prosthetic devices," Trish said. “I'm training her to get into my van." Bella is also likely to be bred again, having already produced two grand champions. "She has another ten years ahead of her," Trish added.
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/4295381/Three-legged-llama-is-first-ever-to-get-false-limb.html fuck yeah transllamanism
6 million dollar lama, oh yeah!
6 million dollar lama, oh yeah!
"We can rebuild him. We have the technology .......that and this will REALLY top my career highlights."
It never asked for this..
inb4DeusExjokes Edit: FUCK
inb4DeusExjokes
2 l8 m8..
^ too late
L+(Translamaism).
Oh great, here's where it starts. Man discovers he can put metal things onto living creatures, and suddenly his science dick is all up in mother nature's business. Lobster sparrows will terrorize the shrimp fishermen destroying Louisiana while dogs with eight legs and the brains of spiders begin to infest and terrorize New York, it's all a matter of time.
^ I guess tin foil hats can't help you from any of that, but just in case :tinfoil:
I don't see how this can end badly
Llama's are fucking assholes, but that's why I respect them.
It never asked for this..
He probably really didn't.

Somewhere out there, Carl is creaming himself
I for one, welcome our for legged Makron leader.
What's next? We implant intelligence chips into them?
What's next? We implant intelligence chips into them?
They don't need intelligence, just chips for enhanced brute force and docility.
I had to shear two Llamas yesterday...they are fucking huge...and loud.
The title had more worried...
What's next? We implant intelligence chips into them?
It's a prosthetic leg.
They don't need intelligence, just chips for enhanced brute force and docility.
That will not make them overlords.
ROBO-LLAMA. :v:
Somewhere out there, Carl is creaming himself
CAAAAAAARRRRRRRLLLLL Why did you replace my limbs with robot parts!?
CAAAAAAARRRRRRRLLLLL Why did you replace my limbs with robot parts!?
Wasn't it Jimmy Newtron that had carl a fat kid that loved Llamas
