Interesting
Hmm, I had to check my Steam account to make sure I have these games. I've never played any of them since I bought them on Steam... Fuck you Steam.. always making me buy shit that I'll never play.
Worth it?
Worth it?
I didn't really like them.
This isn't 1999, nobody cares about quake anymore its time has passed.
Worth it?
Hell fuckin' yes. The Quake series is one of the classic FPS series that everybody should play at least once. Only sperglords that like realism in their games hate the Quake series.
This isn't 1999, nobody cares about quake anymore its time has passed.
Screw you weasel. Got all the id games in a sale once, but I recommend this to anyone, bargain and epic nostalgia.
And yet Quake 4 and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, the only ones I don't have, are not on sale. Quake 4 is excusable, since it isn't on Steam for some reason, but ET:QW should be. I'd get it if I hadn't gotten the id super pack on sale a while back. Not only was it worth it, I felt free to stop playing when it stopped being fun, since I hadn't spent so much on it.

Time for you youngsters to brush up on your history.
This isn't 1999, nobody cares about quake anymore its time has passed.
but dad...
Quake 1 and 2 are fun. Not to fond of 3.
This would be more epic if they included Quake 4... [editline]02:37AM[/editline] Nevertheless... to be able to play Quake 2 after all of these years. Ohh mercy! :D
I might get Quake 2.
Wait for sale on the Super Id Pack instead.
Wait for sale on the Super Id Pack instead.
Pretty much this.
I'll probably go for Quake 3.
This isn't 1999, nobody cares about quake anymore its time has passed.
Well fuck your shit, I'm buying the pack and playing the fuck out of Quake.
Quake 4 isn't on Steam for various publisher issues.
Quake 4 isn't on Steam for various publisher issues.
Fuck. D:< Quake 4 was the shit. I still got it on CD.
This isn't 1999, nobody cares about quake anymore its time has passed.
The only problem with what you said is that for a lot of people(especially on this forum) the quality of the games released around that time period, is superior to that of the games that are being released today. I'm not critizing your opinion, but to say that NO ONE cares about it anymore is foolish, and ignorant.
When the original came out and I rented it, I played the first level then turned off my N64. I was never so scared in my life.
Quake 1 Was sweet. (possibly because it is the only game that runs at 120fps on my laptop)
I just bought the QUAKE Pack. Amazing how this is cheaper than buying the individual games. What pisses me off though is they didn't include the soundtracks. Find a way to put the music in the game. So if you still have your original CD's (which I don't think I do), they should still work.

The experience of the Steam version without the soundtrack is just incomparable; there's barely any atmosphere compared to the original.
