Tucked away in the screenshots is our first look at a Krogan husks, and what might just be the back of Liara’s head. Also, Anderson is back! You’ll find all of the new shots below. The new screens arrived via Igromania, spotted by CVG. There’s an emphasis on the close quarters combat that will play more of a part in Mass Effect 3. One of the enemies is wielding an electrified baton, and Shepard is shown giving one enemy a good old whack with the butt of his assault rifle. Find out more about Mass Effect’s story and combat here, and more on the game’s expanded skill trees here.[/release]
That's the Devourer, a Batarian-Human-Reaper hybrid husk, the Krogan-Turian husk hasn't been revealed yet. Also it's coming out January/February of 2012, "next year" sounds like sometime Winter 2012.
More time for me to finish the first and buy the second, I guess.
This was released about a week ago, Just to let you know. I think there was a thread on it to.
Are they going to make the AI do something other than charge right at you or stand in the middle of the battle with lots of HP and shields?
How does that first trailer with what looks like a modern-day London fit into all of this?
How does that first trailer with what looks like a modern-day London fit into all of this?
It was just so people recognized it as Earth instead of generi-city of the future like most colonies/cities in Mass Effect. Also London was hardly "modern" in that video, they simply built around the landmarks (in the background you can see "New" London.)
How does that first trailer with what looks like a modern-day London fit into all of this?
I'm certain they're saving pictures of famous landmarks for us in the future.
All of us Mass Effect fans already raged about this in our thread last week
cool pics
You know, I thought about it, and I'm actually okay with it being delayed. Rather have a goddamn fantastic game than one that's half-assed for the sake of an earlier release date.
So long as they don't use this delay to add Multiplayer, I'm cool with it. Mass Effect is a single-player series at heart.
Are they going to make the AI do something other than charge right at you or stand in the middle of the battle with lots of HP and shields?
somehow i doubt it :(
Are they going to make the AI do something other than charge right at you or stand in the middle of the battle with lots of HP and shields?
Yes. Now it runs at you, too. Progress.
OMG this looks fucking awesome.
Oh cool, they're bringing back the revenant, hope it's not as hard to get though
Oh cool, they're bringing back the revenant, hope it's not as hard to get though
And that this time it has a 100-round clip.
I wish they would let us do 1st person battles with hotkeys doing the 'spells' or something.
Oh cool, they're bringing back the revenant, hope it's not as hard to get though
You start ME3 with everything you had in ME2, including your stats and level.
Better than Halo.
i'm p. sure i saw those pictures before in game informer
I'm ok with this, this gives them more time to make the game and not rush through it like some other games *cough* Call of Duty *cough*
will the enemies have snipers again? wasn't much variety in the opisition's weapons
Sex starved fans?
You start ME3 with everything you had in ME2, including your stats and level.
How are you supposed to progress then?
