It looks beautiful! I'm pretty sure my PC could handle it on DX10. I have a 5770 that could support DX11, but I don't think my 3.00ghz C2D would handle it.

Of course there are, but you can't rent them from just anyone, it has to be from dice-certified hosts. Still, it's better than fucking matchmaking (I'm looking at you, MW2).
And the reason they do that is so people can't play cracked versions of the game on cracked servers.

Well bf2 could do lan, but I doubt anyone would want to play it over lan. It's not an arcadey shooter like MW or CSS.

I'm not sure if I should wait until the end of summer when I get a new laptop to buy this game or if I should just get it for the PS3 on day one.
