So, I've been trying to figure out what exactly this is, and find some pictures of it.
Something similar to this:

Basically I went inside a storm/run off drain, and the further back we got, we could hear rushing water as if there was a waterfall.
I just want to know if anyone could describe something similar, and if anyone had some cool pictures of something similar.
I did once go into a place like that, literally right behind my house. I do recall hearing many rushing sounds and many cicadas... I didn't have the balls to go further though.:v:

Yeah neither did we, it was pitch black and we couldn't tell if water was going up or down (considering the flow of water was very slow, but it was also flowing out??).
They put lots of pipes underground, and even old derelict passageways will have functioning systems underneath or on the other sides of walls that you're traveling.
You probably heard a dropoff that passed its sound through smaller tubes between the walls.

Lol, I meant I didn't know if was coming down, or going down. (The pipe was straight, and the water was pretty still..was hard to tell)
