Stab one of the guards? Pee on a guard? Heal himself? Or something completely different? It's your choice

he puts the medkit on his back and joins the guards as a medic after downing a beer

Offer them beers and chill.

Force one of the guards to drink alcohol whilst tapping them on the head with the knife. Ask them if they're having a good [I]TIME.[/I]

Loot the guards, if they have anything, maybe extract some blood, red or green, from them, and dye the staff to make it even more intimidating.

Break the disco ball in half to create a disco helmet and shield.

Then use the the possible spare shards of disco glass to make some sweet disco glass aviator glasses.

See if Dial is still in the medkit. If he is, get him to slowly carve a secret tunnel out of the jail.
