Youtube's new 3 minute ad - General

Maybe I'm late to the party, but wow. Now in videos where advertisements can pop up, you can now get a 3 minute long Halo Reach ad: [img]http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/6946/youtubew.png[/img] I'm ok with ads, I understand they need to exist, but jeez. We just jumped from small 15-30 second ads to youtube now becoming as bad as TV. No, this is worse. My video crashed after that and reloading the video I had to watch it again.

You're watching a long video, you're getting proportionately sized adverts for server costs.

wow, the 30 second ones were terrible enough, I can't imagine what this is like.

I try to avoid gaytube as often as possible. There are so many better video sharing sites out there.

I honestly have not seen a Youtube ad in a long, long time.

Adblocker. Also, to people that bitch about it: Only block youtube, or anything owned by google. Ads be gone! Seriously. I never see this crap on youtube.

I heard if you press 0:01 in comments it skips the adverts never really remembered to try

I never see ads on YT. AdBlock and NoScript probably blocking everything.

I just refresh every time I get a commercial. I'd rather just exit the banner than listen to that motherfucker talk about New Orleans again.

I've never come across an ad in YT, I guess AdBlock must be handling that.

get adblock for chrome, never have adds again, i dont know if the firefox adblock blocks youtube adds cause i dont use it

At this point Youtube is just going to die off. Something else will rise up.

F5 skips all the ads for me
