• China mobilizing troops/Jets near North Korea
China has placed military forces on heightened alert in the northeastern part of the country as tensions mount on the Korean peninsula following recent threats by Pyongyang to attack, U.S. officials said. Reports from the region reveal the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) recently increased its military posture in response to the heightened tensions, specifically North Korea’s declaration of a “state of war” and threats to conduct missile attacks against the United States and South Korea. According to the officials, the PLA has stepped up military mobilization in the border region with North Korea since mid-March, including troop movements and warplane activity.
Source: http://freebeacon.com/border-patrol/ Did I do good? Edit: Oh god, why are all the other sources that I can find conservative news sites.
Is this against or in support of NK?
I'm still waiting for another source other than FreeBeacon and the Washington Times (same author btw). Once that happens I'll believe it.
Is this against or in support of NK?
In the hypothetical scenario that this is actually true, it would be to control the border from the potential flux of refugees that'll likely happen any serious conflict within North Korea. Its the last thing China wants. Millions of refugees.
yeah makes sense, they're not gonna be involved just making sure it doesn'tspill over the border
Been waiting for someone to post this. Look at the guy's previous articles; literally all of them are highly alarmist reports about military moves by China, Iran, and anyone else the American right fears. Many of them cite unnamed ~US officials~ and anonymous sources For April Fools Day I am an anti-sensationalist crusader
I keep reading FreeBeacon as FreeBacon but then it's not and I'm disappointed.
I keep reading FreeBeacon as FreeBacon but then it's not and I'm disappointed.
Wow you'd love Thorny from the Stalker threads
wasn't this close to what happened in the korean war? we invaded, but got to close to china and china pushed us back. maybe they afraid of any US influence if we get "greedy" in taking to much ground then doing what we are suppose to do, neutralize the threat.

Great April Fools joke I guess - but they're dragging it on for a long time, don't you think? ...Guys?
China isn't stupid enough to side with North Korea. Especially not when the USA makes up for such a large percentage of their economy. [editline]1st April 2013[/editline]
Because only conservatives are dumb enough to believe it
Bleeding heart liberal bigot.
Yeah i'm not believing anything like this until tomorrow. In a perfect world, news sites would uphold some degree of professionalism on 4/1 and make their joke stories something unbelievable (Like that one british "The world has exploded. We're all dead. I'm writing this from the afterlife" story) but too many make realistic jokes, creating a sort of "The Boy who Cried Wolf" effect for potentially real articles which may or may not be this.

Its funny that the 'human wave' is a common misconception. It was a term given to a tactic where by they would send a small probing force of a few men along a defensive line in 'waves' until they found a potential breakthrough whereby the majority of the force in reserves will push through mostly unopposed. Like blitzkrieg but when you're too poor for tanks or mechanisation. But in reality it wasn't very good. But obviously when popular culture got hold of it, they turned it literal.
Tension is certainly getting higher everyday.
if china's even doing this they aren't doing it in support of NK. china's been distancing themselves from them for a few years now and supports reunification

Its the last thing China wants. Millions of refugees.
That's pretty much the only reason China doesn't want North Korea getting into a conflict. China knows that at this point it's all on NK, and they will not help them. Imagine Mexico going to war with NATO, but not the US. I only use NATO as an example because that's basically the gap in strength between NK and USA, and then all of the mexicans scrambling into the US, same thing, including those cartel fucks that like to behead people It would be nice if China and SK accepted refugees, though, show the North Koreans that 90% of the world is actually a thousand times better than it is in their country
