The operations are being conducted by Mellitah Oil & Gas, a partnership between Eni and Libya's state-run National Oil Corp. Before the protests against Muammar Gaddafi in mid-February morphed into a full-scale civil war, Eni was producing 273,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in Libya. The country sits atop Africa's largest proven reserves of conventional crude. With a small population of only six million, Libya raked in 40 billion dollars last year from oil and gas exports. Experts say it could take about a year or more to get back to its pre-war production of 1.6 million barrels a day. Earlier this month, Eni CEO Paolo Scaroni visited Tripoli to lay the groundwork for relaunching gas exports to Italy via the Greenstream pipeline, which can carry roughly 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year. It hasn't been operational since late February.
Americans can sleep soundly tonight knowing that the oil is still flowing
I'm american and i couldn't give 2 shits if the world ran out of gas tomorrow. We need fuel. A lot. We just don't need gas.
Well I'm American and this is what I drive [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/biscayne15.jpg[/img_thumb]
Puke greens where its at.
Puke greens where its at.
Hey, it's Electric Puke.
Puke greens where its at.
Bro it's mint green, puke is way more yellow.
Bro it's mint green, puke is way more yellow.
But what about the red chunks
This is good, Libyas economy needs some serious help now and it's good to know the money will hopefully better distributed.
Americans can sleep soundly tonight knowing that the oil is still flowing
Not all the oil in the world goes to the US you know. Most of Libya's oil actually takes the short trip to Europe.
Bro it's mint green, puke is way more yellow.
Then what do you know about puking? It comes in many different colors and.. Sometime's it has the resemblance of intestine snippets.
Then what do you know about puking? It comes in many different colors and.. Sometime's it has the resemblance of intestine snippets.
Gross Ok let's stop derailing the thread.
Then what do you know about puking? It comes in many different colors and.. Sometime's it has the resemblance of intestine snippets.
Really? It's been yellow all the times I've seen it.
Ok let's stop derailing the thread.
'Kay.
Maybe the price of fuel can finally come down.
Yay! I get insured to drive tomorrow!
Maybe the price of fuel can finally come down.
HA.
Maybe the price of fuel can finally come down.
The price goes up regardless of any shortages.
"The supplies started on 1 October 2004 and the pipeline was inaugurated on 7 October 2004 by Silvio Berlusconi and Muammar Gaddafi." Wiki on that greenstream pipeline. Talk about irony, opened by two leaders, ends up in the hands of only one.
ITT: Colour of puke discussion.
Why is my fucking gas still $1.40/L?
Because.
Why is my fucking gas still $1.40/L?
Because George Bush, amirite?
Why is my fucking gas still $1.40/L?
OPEC. They slow production down to drive up the price.
