The only thing I am worried about Arma 3 is the AI and interior movement in buildings.
Helicopter control seems to be a lot smoother now
Day Z mod for arma3 weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

That is because they use there much more advanced flight model of their other helicopter sim Take On Helicopters
Is it just me or are the muzzleflashes a little big? I know it's nitpicky as fuck, but ArmA's all about the realism, and those flashes were fucking gigantic.

It's being built into the game AKA it's not gonna be a mod anymore.

Looked around but could not find a valid source. You got one?

Sold.

It won't be on Day 1 though I believe
Please guys, don't buy Arma 3 just for DayZ. The milsim part is amazing as well.
I, for one, hate DayZ, and just want to play normal Arma.

I don't really care since the developers get money anyway.
The milsim fans would stay with the milsim part of the game and DayZ fans would stay to the DayZ part of the game.
Though I'm scared Bohemia would change their priorities if a majority of their players are DayZ fans but I'm sure they won't fuck up their priorities
The game looks beautiful for having such a huge map. Though i hope the controls will be better. some controls were over complicated imo.

Does it matter what their reasons are for buying the game?

Well, yes.
Take Warcraft 3 for example. DotA was created for Warcraft 3 and began to pick up tremendous popularity.
The consequences for that though is that in the game browser you could almost not find any other custom game than DotA, essentially killing Warcraft 3's multiplayer unless you only play it for DotA.
Of course, after the releases of HoN, LoL and DotA 2 the multiplayer calmed down and it's all good now, but it had rough times which personally led me to stop playing Warcraft 3 completely.
Am I the only one who don't find DayZ fun?
Man, I hope my pc runs this.
Kinda neat they implemented female models.
One thing that bugs me is that the reflex/holographic sight simply utilizes a reticule pasted onto a pane of glass, as opposed to how they work in real life by correcting for parallax when the point of aim shifts.

I'm looking forward to some optimization so I won't have to make an upgrade my budget most likely won't allow.

I always thought it was funny that there were women in ArmA 2, but they were all civilians, and they weren't even animated to hold a gun.
The firing mechanics seem way more smooth now. The dust that's kicked up really makes the rounds feel real.

It's like GTA you know they're there but you never see them.
It seems to be coming together quite nicely. Looks much nicer than Arma 2.
But I still can't stand how incredibly bad their particle effects are. They really need to get some better effects designers.
Warfare and Day Z should be built into Arma 3. I play Arma 2 with friends on Warfare. I play Day Z Alone. I play the Arma 2 campaign. I love the whole game. It is just good to see that the Devs know what everyone in Arma's Community is into at the moment.
Hopefully they've hired better voice actors...

Dslyecxi (the founder of ShackTac) has said that they movements indoors are much better than arma 2. So I'm optimistic.
